I’ve never been told that. I would love any suggestions you have on correcting that. I’m really working on some vocal training. Thanks

@@candidlyal Yes, you can fix it, especially at your age. It’s faddish right now among younger women, so you probably picked it up inadvertently. But it’s not good for your voice long-term and distracting to the listener. Some of it is that you are looking down at the pen, choking off your vocal chords. Try to rearrange your space so that the camera is still on the pen but off of your person and you are looking straight ahead while you speak or only slightly downward. That could require some thought about setup. I’m not trying to be unkind, but you have the ability to make very nice videos. I urge you to go all the way and make them beautiful on every level. Opportunities will open for you.

@@dragonfly656 no worries I love constructive criticism, and my voice is something I’ve been working on. I’m just a mom with an iPhone camera, nothing fancy. I’d love to make better quality videos and will definitely take your advice. I found some good lessons on breathwork to help with voice fry too. So definitely let me know how I’m progressing.

I’m fairly new to fountain pens. I started with the Pilot Kakuno and then Prera. Both are transparent pens. I soon found myself gravitating towards TWSBI because of their demonstrators and recently picked the eco in transparent purple with an EF nib. It’s such a beautiful pen in my favorite color also with Octopus Fluids Violet Lion as the ink. I mainly use my pens to sketch, draw or lay down lines of ink with before moving onto using my markers or other mediums. With TWSBI, I was originally looking at the Diamond Mini AL in purple or the vac mini clear but wanted to try their Eco before committing to a more expensive pen to see if I even like them. Since I absolutely love my Eco and can’t get enough, I have to ask, do you prefer one filling mechanism over the other? I’ve read some horror stories about the vac and folks accidentally dispelling all the ink causing a very inky mess. I use waterproof inks mostly so I’ve avoid anything disastrous so far but it comes with the territory and feels inevitable. However, I’m doing my darnedest to avoid that as much as possible. I’ve considered getting their ink jars if I do get a diamond or vac mainly for the ease of the full fill of the pen. I was also considering getting a medium nib with either twsbi i decide but was a little concerned that it may be too juicy and a bolder line than I’d like since my EF is not like my EF with my Pilot pen because of the Western Vs. Japanese nib.

Oh I love this! I absolutely love my vac filling system! If you’re already used to piston filling systems you should be just fine! Goulet pens has some great info on filling vac pens. That’s what I used and I haven’t had an issue with spillage at all. Good luck! I also love drawing with my fountain pens! Platinum carbon black ink is my go to ink
