that`s awesome
this is so cool I wanna try this at some point altough I dont think I will ever buy a resin printer or tpu so i'll have to make a mould and cast it
Flexible 80A resin doesn't have biocompatibility rating, so we'll need to know more about that lacquer coating and the safety testing involved before we could implement this protocol. Is there documentation to this effect?
easy fix- just make a negative mold and cast skin-safe silicone in it with a release agent
my only concern is how the f am i gonna scan my ear with a s21 ultra instead of having to buy an iphone or top tier 3d scanner
Lacquer coating is used widely in the manufacturing of hearing aids. There is no biocompatability requirement for non medical devices however, this is just a good practice step.
@@GlassGuy89 uncured resin can potentially cause allergic reactions so I appreciate the application of lacquer alot
@@Mkz0r I am well aware of that, industry experienced
I cannot find the apps on apples app store
very nice how much
How long does it take to print something like this?
depends on the printer but that part is quite small but it requires high detail so I guess around 3/4 hours
Is there a place to order the custom ear tips?
I wanna know this too 🤞
There is a company in the US that does custom ear tips for off the shelf earphones. You just need to send them your 3d data of your ear impression.
Seems like apps like this cannot be used by individuals yet, a bummer for those having a 3d printer :/
