- Welcome back to our 1.20 adventure on the channel in the Trails and Tails update!
In this episode, we mine for diamonds, discover a spider spawner, go adventuring with our archeology brush, then we come home to build our nether portal pagoda and name our yellow and white axolotls.

I like the idea of keeping the names in Japanese to fit our Japanese-inspired build theme we have for this series ✨
Name the brown one Miso!
I'd name the pink one Sakura, it fits the theme of the season and the update.
For yellow butter for brown coco or cookie for pink sprinkle and for white marshmellow

For a zen garden area build, you could use white concrete powder to make a white sand zen garden. Love what you've been doing so far. You've taken a unique take on this compared to most I've seen. Really enjoying this series. Keep up the good work!

The white concrete powder reminds me of ToTK's Shrines!
Plus, the light blue concrete powder; It reminds me of water amusement parks with the rubber areas with water, for the little kids!

Maybe you can keep a forever rainbow in the sky with glass and maybe put some floating lanterns like your previous world.
As for name suggests Pink axolotl could name Sakura and for the brown axolotl maybe Kuma means bear.

Might I suggest some _toro_ lanterns outside of your pagoda? They're very often found around shinto shrines, would fit the vibe/aesthetic very well, and there's multiple Minecraft designs for them~

Finally for the pink axolotal I think that since it matches the cherry trees it should be named Cherry! The yellow and white should be named Sunny and Cloudy, and the brown one should be named Cookie, Coco, or Brownie! Again I absolutley love you and all that you do for us! love your series so much. My suggestion for the brown Axolotl is Nattō (a traditional Japanese food made from whole fermented soybeans) or Dango (Japanese dessert made from glutinous rice flour) or Kuma (bear in Japanese =)))), for the pink one is Ditto (a pink pokemon)

Breaking the buried treasure chest after you find it will prevent you from getting duplicates of the same map

I watched this again today as I’m going to build my own pagoda for a nether portal … if you don’t mind me using the idea that is.
I’ve noticed you sleep before you go mining, every time in fact … I’m wondering why?!! The way the mob cap works on Java is fairly simple. It’s around 70 hostile and 70 passive mobs within 128 blocks your current location at any given time. It’s spherical… meaning, in the daytime hostile mobs reside in dark places such as caves and mines, whereas there are less hostile mobs in caves at night because there numbers are shared above ground. Only when deep down at around -40 do hostile mobs increase at night as there is less above ground surface within your radius. So don’t be scared of mining during the night 🤣🤣
