It was raining when he was performing live in Bangalore. All were drenched and not even single person moved till he completed. It was magical and he came out of stage with wife refusing umbrella offered by security and was walking in Rain. I was too close to him standing without selfie and thinking how can he be so simple and have so much compassion for people. Loved him when I was kid and will love him till I die.

Lucky Ali is not the name of a person , it is the name of a movement that changed indian music forever , He is the reason Indians started listening to hindi pop music . Sonu Nigam, Aryans, Falguni Pathak, Hari Haran ,Junoon etc all worked hard to cash in the golden period of musical pop albums which was led by lucky ali undoubtedly.

Bollywood artists are only concerned about quality of music till they become big...once they have a brand...it only takes marketing to sell more of anything the "brand" makes. Same is true of movies. Dabbang 1, Dabbang 2, Dabbang 3...most of the sequels & franchise have no plot...just glamorous sets, technology, CGI and a tonne of marketing.

Lucky Ali Sir is actually 90's kids hero.
    2000 से पहले जन्म वाले जरुर पढ़े
    बहुत अच्छी फीलिंग आयेगी ☺
    .
    हम लोग,
    जो 1947 से 2000
    के बीच जन्में है,
    We are blessed because,
    👍 हमें कभी भी
    👌हमारें माता- पिता को
    हमारी पढाई को लेकर
    कभी अपने programs
    आगे पीछे नही करने पड़ते थे...!
    👍 स्कूल के बाद हम
    देर सूरज डूबने तक खेलते थे
    👍 हम अपने
    real दोस्तों के साथ खेलते थे;
    net फ्रेंड्स के साथ नही ।
    👍 जब भी हम प्यासे होते थे
    तो नल से पानी पीना
    safe होता था और
    हमने कभी mineral water bottle को नही ढूँढा ।
    👍 हम कभी भी चार लोग
    गन्ने का जूस उसी गिलास से ही
    पी करके भी बीमार नही पड़े ।
    👍 हम एक प्लेट मिठाई
    और चावल रोज़ खाकर भी
    बीमार नही हुए ।
    👍 नंगे पैर घूमने के बाद भी
    हमारे पैरों को कुछ नही होता था ।
    👍 हमें healthy रहने
    के लिए Supplements नही
    लेने पड़ते थे ।
    👍 हम कभी कभी अपने खिलोने
    खुद बना कर भी खेलते थे ।
    👍 हम ज्यादातर अपने parents के साथ या grand- parents के पास ही रहे ।
    👌हम अक्सर 4/6 भाई बहन
    एक जैसे कपड़े पहनना
    शान समझते थे.....
    common. वाली नही
    एकतावाली feelings ...
    enjoy करते थे
    👍 हमारे पास
    न तो Mobile, DVD's,
    PlayStation, Xboxes,
    PC, Internet, chatting,
    क्योंकि
    हमारे पास real दोस्त थे ।
    👍 हम दोस्तों के घर
    बिना बताये जाकर
    मजे करते थे और
    उनके साथ खाने के
    मजे लेते थे।
    कभी उन्हें कॉल करके
    appointment नही लेना पड़ा ।
    👍 हम एक अदभुत और
    सबसे समझदार पीढ़ी है क्योंकि
    हम अंतिम पीढ़ी हैं जो की
    अपने parents की सुनते हैं...
    और
    साथ ही पहली पीढ़ी
    जो की
    अपने बच्चों की सुनते हैं ।
    We are not special,
    but.
    We are
    LIMITED EDITION
    and we are enjoying the
    Generation Gap......

@@nisargpanchal1471 you need to understand that you're talking about people like you, who are very less in number. Majority knows him because because of the amazing music he gave in movies like Sur. I'm not wrong in saying that his fame came after bollywood.

Wow, always respected Lucky Ali and adored his classy songs, but post this interview admire him so much more.
Agree with the impact of degrading cinema on degrading society since cinema reaches where books and morals dont.
Chikni Chameli, Bidi jalaile, gatkale alcohol se, gandi baat, maro line, baby doll sone di etc, etc are utterly pathetic, gunda songs. Even worse is kids singing and dancing to these songs in our houses, dance shows. The dark and unnecessarily violent movies laden with abuses is corrupting society - gangs of wasseypur, Badlapur, etc. etc
Agree with increasing disrespect, intolerance within society and bollywood, the way artists speak in interviews today is worse than how they used to speak few decades earlier. The respect is still visible in Tamil, Telegu cinema.
Like millions I am also concerned about farming but seeing someone actually doing something rather than only speaking about it raised his stature. Hope he continues to make classy songs alongwith his venture.
