not sure how this was tested but definitely has given 6L/100 KM pretty consistent. On longer drives it has been even lower than 6L/100 KMs. I have this car and its pretty fast and find the drivability is pretty good. Have done over 26K now. Wind noise which is being talked about is true but can be easily fixed with some rubber gaskets you can buy online. The engine is small which makes it very fuel efficient and the battery gives it a lot of torque.
This review does feel very baised for some reason, its a bit of shame that all the safety features were not considered which comes with technology. Also it has a 5 start ANCAP rating. 7 years warranty for engine and also battery respectively. I also got 3 years road side assistance, which came bundled. Overall its a very good package.

I have had this car for 9 months now, and it is doing at an average of 5.2L/100km on the echo mode. It even does better with the Single Pedal Function.

Well, if you're driving softly, then it can do as good as 4 to 4.5L/100km.

For a round-trip, 4L/100km is usually the best you can do. For example, if your trip is descending, then you'll go back ascending. The avararage will be for both trips. As mentioned before, you have to drive economically to reach this avararage and try utilizing the Single Pedal Function to decelerate most of the time. Also, please take into consideration that in winter the consumption will slightly differ, especially for short trips.
You can raise the damn headrest that's what it's designed to do to cater for different heights... Complaining about nothing there. This the typical bias review against Good Chinese cars.. Aussie reviewers seem to nitpick and complain about things they gladly ignore in their favoured brands. This is a very good car at an awesome price go drive it for yourself a d you will be impressed. It's great value for the money.

That headrest comment was the tell for this whole review. I have this vehicle. It is great.
Using since lasr 1 year. Driven more than 58k. No issue at all, fuel economy stays always lesser than 5 .8ltr/100km. Running on 21 inch wheel with Bridgestone tyres. My car is kind of eye-catching on the road. Suspension already imported from Thailand makes the car more comfortable than it was in real life.
What is the name of the brand for the suspension especially for haval h6? I am always curious if the suspension of h6 can be modified.
@a_h8459 imported from Thailand store name Ozy Suspensions, you will find them on google. Talk to them, and they will send it to you.
I really like HUD but I don't need a sunroof. So I finally chose the Lux hybird not ultra hybird. Although navigation information can be seen on HUD, but if I use Carplay, I can also see it on the information cluster.

The model in the video is an early 2023 build, not a 2024. The later 2023s have a blue background on the badge, and Haval is spelt with a different font on front and back. Not sure if there are any other differences, though.

what is the width of the car is 1886 the width with side mirrors extended? can the car be driven with the mirrors folded into a garage, tight for space in my garage
The Haval H6 Hybrid is equipped with power-folding exterior mirrors (on both Lux and Ultra versions), so at the touch of a button you can fold the mirrors to help fit in your garage, though with the mirrors folded you won't be able to access the 360-degree camera system.

Does CarPlay work wirelessly? It’s my main beef with our current Jolion Ultra Hybrid.
In Brazil, it works wirelessly.

No wireless for AU and NZ.
There's mo wireless CarPlay for the Haval H6 in Australia at present, but it is available in some overseas markets which means we could potentially see it added in a future update, though nothing is confirmed at this stage.
no it does not but then again, can be easily fixed with third party carlinkit devices, which works pretty well.
Why can they not see that a black roof liner is critical, family car and easier on the eye. My 2 cents....
What happened to Toyota manipulating quality control and deceiving consumers for 34 years?/
Not to mention the Nicle batteries in the Toyota hybrids that are half the lifetime of the Lithium batteries in the Haval.
@@nabeelamawi4230I think Toyota RAV4 Hybrid 2024 model uses a 245 V lithium-ion battery, not the Nickel metal hybrid battery
It wont attract Bowens luxury tax as its under $75k.
You guys sees very minor unnoticeable stuff. Do you really live stress free life. Comon, driving on road except your driving behaviour and skill rest doesn't matter
this review is BS, 6.7L/ 100Km for city drive like this size suv is not good? It’s not as good as rav4, but the number is pretty good indeed compare with other cars like this price
But this is not a normal petrol SUV. It’s a hybrid. You should expect better from a hybrid, particularly given the claimed economy is much lower.
Not good enough for a Hybrid, plus you don't get a spare tyre.
You're comparing this to a car that costs much much more.

@@jasmitbuttar7846that’s exactly the point. The Toyota hybrids are now simply not accessible. Who would wait 24-36 months for a new car. 3-6 months wait is maximum for any new car purchase.

There’s nothing special about 6ltrs/100k. Most modern petrol cars do that.
Their testing isn't optimal at all, thr car will easily get more with one pedal driving aka regen driving

They will have virtually no resale value. People will consider a second hand Toyota but not these.
I had a Haval for a year, and it was sold 5 days after I listed it. Don’t assume
Why did you sell it in a year?
Havals are getting a good reputation for being reliable and their resale value is good.. you are making assumptions here
