My husband and I saw Bruce for his 'Tattoo Millionaire' tour back in 1990. Somebody yelled for Bruce to do an Iron Maiden song. And Bruce wasn't having any of it! Told the guy that 'this is NOT an Iron Maiden show!!.....You can blank-blank-blanking leave!!!'

I always click and hit the like buttons haha. I know you say to watch the video and for you to earn it, but you earned my sub a long time ago with some great reactions. I may not always agree with some of them as our opinions may differ on some tunes but that's alright.
Overall we tend to agree on, and enjoy, many of the same songs. Much love and respect from Canada 🇨🇦 ❤ i hope your channel continues to do well and that you, plus the wonderful wife and cute kitty, have plenty of continued success, happiness and good health. 🍻 cheers!

This was one of his first since leaving Maiden, I feel like his later solo stuff is different.

This is from 1994 during his first hiatus from Iron Maiden...try checking out a new track, released just a month ago (coming on a new album release "The Mandrake Project" - Jan '24)) - "Afterglow of Ragnarok" - another mid/slower tempo song, but very powerful: ua-cam.com/video/yulfvacpvTc/v-deo.html

7s is a good place for this song, imo. Nothing stands out as unique, surprising, or memorable. But all together it feels nice.

Bruce had three absolutely sick metal albums after this. Chemical Wedding and Accident of Birth rival anything Maiden have ever done. Heavier, punchier and more original.

Love that reggae part at the end of the solo, adds a lot to the song imo

The live versions are good, if you're so inclined I'd recommend checking one of them out (the Bruce and Tribuzy one is my personal favorite). I'll just say, the guitar solo doesn't feel too long when it's live.

See ever since i first heard it i was saying " this is how you start a solo project after being in bands without having done anything solo before". Generous song as far solo and vocals goes, nothing subdued. Personally did not like Tatooed Millionaire . About the similarities with Maiden songs, let's not forget that when it comes to Maiden songs Bruce is second most credited songwriter after Steve, so of course there would be similarities to several stylistically. On the other hand, apart of this album (Balls to Picasso) being his first collaboration with guitarist Roy Z, Dickinson said that he and Roy Z "were talked into making it less heavy than it should have been".
