I am happy for you and I am happy it is over. I can only imagine the stress you have been through. Looking forward to your next endeavor. I know you will be successful!
Hey Jeff, Im having huge issues with our GD Momentum. It's parked at a dealership in TX and we have been stuck for 8 weeks. Can you disclose who or how you obtained an independent inspector?
I will follow any of your pages, just hearing about your adventures in the RV Park Build World, Bucket List Days, whatever, it is all interesting and informative. Just enjoy your life and endeavors as you go, and if you share it along the way, I will check it out!
It shouldn't matter what you say or do. You have had more than your fair share of issues with your rig. You have the right to "sell out" if you want since you've tried to give them the chance to make it right. Do what you have to for you and your family. I will keep watching. Excited to see how these new opportunities turn out.
We have had 2 class a s . First was a 1983 Winnebago. 80k miles zero break downs . 2001 Winnebago adventurer 65k miles zero break downs . Looking at upgrading it will be another Winnebago class a . Looking at a 2017 grand tour 45 rl .. we are sticking with what works for us.
@@MyBucketListDay It sucks. You had to go thru this “. There are a lot that are second owners on rigs that’s less than a year old !! And they are left out !! NDA. Don’t Not post it !!
I have a 2014 winnebago tt... no issues since day 1... Winnebago owns GD since 18 or 19???? The numbers geeks got involved and stripped the quality out of the parts specs and the labor as well... As they tell them everyday we can get a monkey to do your job... No???? try us.
Geoff. I can't tell you how many people came at me, and still are, calling me names, and saying I sold out. I don't know if you watched my entire story and how it unfolded. They'll never know until they have to go through it. You don't owe anyone an explanation. Glad it worked out for you, sir.
Yes, I saw your video when you had the accident with the SRT crew. Very happy to hear you got everything worked out. I first hand understand the stress and frustration of trying to get things resolved. Sadly my issues took over a year to get resolved but finally did. Personally, I'm drained with RV life and taking a break from it for a few months. As mentioned in my video while I was stranded in one location, so my friends and I decided to start another venture. So I'll be spending a few months working on that. I'll be back in the RV life once I get these projects up and running.
I understand the comment , "non-disclosure ". Congratulations sir. I would hope to visit with u guys . Some people are nosey and refuse to understand. What's best for that best person . Congratulations. Best to u both .
Thank u . It is great to watch a channel that stands for truth an honor .. something my grandfather taught me and the military life.. thank u . Looking forward to ur next release . Thank u for an honest channel content and material.
Please let us know the name of the new RV park so we can check it out. Will you have spaces for sale and rent? Definitely looking forward to the new channel to follow along with all the projects.
I'm happy for you that this is over and hopefully Grand Design made you whole or somewhat whole in the process. In the end you have to do what is right for you and i think anyone living the nightmare you were would do whatever it took to get out of it.... What bothers me is the way GD is going about it. I simply do not like the fact that they are basically using either money or threats of lawsuits(or both) to silence people in an effort to make the bad publicity go away. I feel like its the wrong way to go about it. They have a problem, they know it. The better answer would be transparency and admit the problem exists and solve the issue not just try and sweep it under the rug.
Your words are saying the Brinkley is the best 5th wheel out there. So you're putting it above Spacecraft, New Horizons, Luxe, DRV and a few others as well?
Yes, Yes I am. this is my opinion and its because while the Brands you mention are better than most, they still fall short in the areas I've mentioned in other videos. Space Craft is awesome, but out of the majorities range in price and practicality. The New Horizons is good but are poor in fit and finish and could improve in many of the components they use. Lux and DRV are also good RV's but also lack in quality components and fit and finish. Again this my opinion from exploring and crawling around each of these Brands. For the Money Brinkley out performs all of them.
For the money might have been a little bit more accurate in your video. I just take it as Brinkley is the best fifth wheel out there when you hear that. Your post explains it
Yes I believe you are a sellout. You obviously signed an NDA and took a buyout. Good for you but I sure was looking forward to seeing the issues to look out for now I have to figure out a way to block you from showing up on my feed. Best of luck.
Thanks for the video. Hope all turns out well for you. It's your life to do as you please!!! And to HELL with all of the nay-sayers!! Have a beautiful day!! Illinois, USA
You worked hard and went thru a lot of BS to get GD to finally step up and settle. Everyone else will have to fight their own fight to get their own settlement. Unfortunately GD isn't willingly going to step up and do the right thing and recall all of their 5th wheels and make it right with everyone. A class action lawsuit will probably be the only way to force their hand.
No I dont think you guys are sell outs. I do think since you are you tube and presented the public with this whole situation you certainly did not give viewers the complete story. Of course you are not required to do so but....information on the inspection could have proved helpful for some GD owners. 3 years ago the back end was torn off in NC, untold stress on a non-commercial frame and the walls of your unit. Second owners of rigs in the rv industry are left without many options from the manufacturers. In the end I know you are left alone with this pain. There is enough data to suggest there is more than one company to blame for this disaster.
I don't think you "sold out" at all. I think you used some broad stroke language that I couldn't tell if you were sponsored by Grand Design and you are "parting ways" or GD and you were "parting ways" as in you were going to get rid of your 5th wheel. The language just didn't make sense.
A sell out? Hell no. You're a genius. Build a source of passive income that is centered around RVing while the sun is shining. I'm surprised there isn't a class-action suit against Lippert et al. Subscribed.
I am happy for you and I am happy it is over. I can only imagine the stress you have been through. Looking forward to your next endeavor. I know you will be successful!
Thanks so much, you have know idea the stress and frustration not to mention the loss of income.

Dave here - IMHO it is only a sell out if you buy another Momentum.
LOL. Not likely
You signed an NDA and you should have just come out and said that! How much were you paid to keep quite?
Really, it's no one's business the deal he made...many people have signed NDA's with different manufacturers.

No! What did anyone think your motivations actually were? Just do what’s best for you.

You do you don't worry what anybody said or do
Thanks, we do what we do
The big Class A vs. 5th wheel debate or do what we did, buy an Airstream.😁 Good luck whatever you decide.
Thanks
Buy a welder and fix it. Or build a schoolie. Or bring it to me and I'll weld it. Cheaper to fix what you got and you can make it stronger
We prefer to just move on.
They must have paid you for the rv and let you keep it !
So is that what everyone is saying?

Blame to go around about all this

Intentionally vague, most likely due to a monetary settlement or legal threat.
Sorry its not clear for you. But we have moved on from GD and the RV!
