That would be awesome. Unfortunately, the SSOT tune of the year voters seem to have forgotten Gareth. Somehow, in the 2019 voting, Kingdom United, Amber Sun, Lionheart, and everything else on the "Kingdom United" Cd were passed over and didn't even make the top 50.
Sadly ASOT, Armada and Armin turned into commercial l trance-pop crap 😔
@@Yakuuzy85 The fact that Gareth Emery won tune of the year three times last decade I think tells who really is the greatest trance DJ. And that is without all the other true masterpieces that didn't reach the top.
You'll Be OK is a bit different from what Gaz usually makes. Here there is no traditional buildup intro (not that he hasn't made tracks like this before); instead he takes us straight to Annabel's vocals. Also the end is very abrupt, just like in pop songs. In that regard, he might still have a chance at ASOT tune of the year.
Personally I would prefer a version of this song with every part of it extended, similarly to the radio edit version of Concrete Angel compared to the original mix.

My wife wanted me to listen to this song as it meant something to her, and didn’t really know until I heard the words. She came from a wife beating husband (and then I came along) we married and have been for 27yrs. Two years ago she was over medicated in an Angiogram and collapsed in my arms, I had to do CPR and she spent 13hrs in Emergency..... they gave her her last’s rights but came back. She wanted me to hear this song as her song to me. Crying like a baby while I type.... and I’m 55.

Yeah I like the melody the most compared to other song in top 10. It's kinda more energetic and powerful.
But Somebody loves you has great meaningful vocals and the melody is also superb. It doesn't sound like a ordinary trance track. It has something more to it. And I think that decided in the voting.

This bloke doesnt get the regonition he deserves. Should be up there with AVB, Above and Beyond etc. This guy is just as good but doesnt quite have the fanbase of some of the others. A lot of modern trance dj's seem to incorporate more house/techno which isnt a criticism at all, not bashing it, but Gareth has the old school classic 90's melodies and for me he is up there with the best trance producers without doubt. Great new song!

He's incredibly talented and should be up there with the best, because he actually is one of the best, but when I saw him live, I understood why he's not there. He's not trying to amaze people with lights and fireworks, he's not grabbing the microphone everytime, shouting random words, he's just there, playing his music like he was in his room. But nowadays, visual is almost as important as music is, sadly, and he's not taking care of that part.

This is 100% my GOAT song of all time. True story .My father was on his dying bed in June 2020 (about 3 months after this track was officially released) and the last thing my dad said to me as he hugged me for the final time was "Steve You'll be ok" I legit found this song 3 days later on UA-cam. Mr. Gareth Emery you are 100% my favourite music producer and top 2 djs of all time. It fluctuates however I just watched your most recent live set from LSR/CITY V2 that you posted yesterday and your finale song was this beauty! So you are number one again in all categories! . I fell in love with trance in 1999 so I am older. I now listen to this every track every few months to remember my Father and this wonderful moment . I want to personally thank you and Annabel for making this legendary track. You have no idea how much this helped me grieve with the death my father. This is in my opinion is a positive synchronicity from the universe that I will never forget and will use to remember My Dad in the best possible way for eternity.

Gareth said on instagram this is one of the best songs he's ever written. He's so right, this is a solid contender for the Tune of the Year title.
I still prefer his golden unforgettable classics from the '08-'10 era, but damn this tune is stunning.
This track is still one of the best arranged songs and perfect for Annabel’s voice. The chorus bridges before the instrumental pickups are just insanely good. So well done.
Come on, this is as generic as they come. Great song, don't get me wrong, but definitely not a masterpiece of any kind. Her vocals are really lovely though and fit the song extremely well.

This is the real trance vocal!
Trance as a whole has just got better and better over the last 30 years. It’s always been good, but I feel as if it is harder and harder to find a subpar artist anymore. How it’s not in the mainstream and as massive as it was in the 90’s, is beyond me.
I believe it says it all when I literally have 3 times more of Gareth on my playlist than Armin or Tiesto. Gareth is simply the best thing going today.

I have only teared up during two songs, this and Saving Light. That says a lot about Gaz and the real raw emotion his music brings.
I really like the fact about that he always plays with his melodies. His melodies have something like talking-effect....It's like someone is talking to you in different octaves and notes but the rythm is constant. One of the best song writers and producers of all time.
