I sat alone with my thoughts and this song came on. 20 seconds in my head dropped in to my hands and sobbed. It’s been the toughest year lost my dad my nana and could not even pay my respects. Needed to hear this song it helped me let go of all the hurt… thank you Gareth!!❤️

I am so thankful for this song, I was in such a dark place when it was uploaded to UA-cam. I had just gone through major heart surgery a few weeks prior & the lyrics and the story in the video really emotionally struck me.
Even now in late August 2020 I cannot listen to this song without breaking down into tears and hearing the story behind it, especially in the light of my personal circumstances and the global Covid-19 epidemic.

As 2020 comes to a close, I think this song represents all the fears and hopes of everything we went through in 2020. It captures the emotions perfectly.
He closed with this for LSRCity v3 in DC. The lights and sound was just transcendent. You couldn't help but tear up to the raw emotions being displayed at the end. Was a beautiful moment, and I got to share it with all those strangers around me.
