- "Elevating Wiltshire" is a video supporting the Wessex Airscapes exhibition of the same name, a collaborative effort by Anna Dillon, Hedley Thorne and Patrick Dillon, in memory of Hedley's late father Martin. MUSIC DETAILS:
Permission was gratefully received for the song "Silbury Hill" by The Edgelarks. Do visit their site www.edgelarks.co.uk for this and more of their wonderful music. Also many thanks to Magdalena for the song "The Old Tale" - I can't believe this was DRM free, it is amazing.

Hedley: very well done to you, Anna, and Patrick for all the hard work you've put into creating a fabulous exhibition. My wife and I were so lucky to catch you and Anna at the Museum yesterday afternoon. It made our day! Thank you for delaying your departure to take the time to chat with us, and for you and Anna to sign the EW book. Congratulations all round!
Thank you so much Barry, it was great to meet you and I am thrilled you like the exhibition, and also the podcast! We made episode 14 today but due to complications this one is very different!
Simply stunning Hedley. Bloody well done mate 👏
I'll gladly take that! Thank you so much.
Superb. I liked the interplay of painting to cinematography, all backed by music that does not take attention from the sequences. And it was good to see a few cameo appearances of the pilot-cinematographer, as well. For some reason the bright light on the frost-covered ground at the end of the series of seasons sticks with me most. Seeing so many ancient sites in one go is almost overwhelming and sparks lots of questions about other activity sites now ploughed over, or forested and unknown to us today, all these thousands of years later.
Thank you so much, it took me two years to make a 6 minute video and so I am glad that the end result is pleasing. Thanks again
What an amazing song!
Lovely isn't it, by The Edgelarks. All of their music is so enchanting.
Beautiful, mesmerising film! Visited the exhibition yesterday and this film was one of many highlights. So pleased to be able to watch it again here. The whole exhibition is just lovely, it's only on for a few more days but I would really recommend it to anyone who hasn't yet seen it.
Thank you so much for visiting and I am so pleased that you liked it. This video was hard work for me but I am glad you like the result. I will be a bit emotional on Sunday when we are there for the closing of the exhibition. -Heds
