Thanks, this videowas really helpful to me. I was about to jump in the deep end and try and do DIY stabismus therapy.
I had a ruptured aneurysm on Jan 28 and subsequently (from the brain surgeries) have double vision. I have been given a prism for my left eye which helps (at least it allows me to be able to drive) but the glasses are distance only so it's very frustrating wearing them all the time. Your video was very encouraging! I'm in therapy but they seem to be doing all the things that you have suggested not to do! I am definitely going to look into your website and try to find someone who can actually help. Thank you!
I have double vision because of a buckle surgery for my detached retina. I wear prisms for that (up & down not aligned). I haven't heard of vision therapy before and makes me want to quiz my doctor more closely at the next visit. May not be the answer, but I still will be aware. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Many doctors simply tell you vision therapy doesn’t work. Best course of action is to find a qualified developmental optometrist and have a consultation.
Unfortunately, you aren't the first person that I've talked to that gained strabismus after a detached retina. Do the prisms help with double vision? i have strabismus and my eye goes in im currently going to eye oppinments to see if i can get the surgery and i was born with a cataract it caused my right eye to get weaker and i my left eye is my good seeing eye i wanted to know if the surgery would work on a 14 year old
Surgery can definitely work on a 14 year old! Cataracts can make it a little tricky, but it is definitely very common.

Nope
I have squint eye even after surgery i have two surgeries of my both squinted eyes but still my right eye is going in external angle what should I do now 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

You didn't tell us what's the correct way. I'm over thirty and I have Strabismus like yours , when I cover my dominant eye the lazy one gets in its normal place. What do you think?

Maybe retitle the video “What NOT to do for Strabismus” or “What I did wrong for Strabismus” or “These techniques for Strabismus did NOT work for me”.
