Um why did you write 400% when it increased by 300% plus why was it 175(4)?

175 is already one whole, so it’s 100%, add 300% and you get 400%

Increased by a percentage is 1+(%/100)
A 25% increase, for example, will be 1+0.25 (1.25) times the original value.
In this case, since it's 300% increase -> 1+(300/100) -> 1+3= 4 times the original value.

175 is 100 percent of 175 so adding 300 percent is 400 percent of 175 which is 4x175
