This is the first time I cut wood. What is your advice with regards to cutting wood? Please let me know! Lessons learnt: * The first thick plank required several cuts on both sides. I still had to use quite a bit of force for the blade to score through the wood for each cut - however I felt like I used more force holding the ruler down and my arms got really tired … ow 😆 * Ideally the balsa wood should be cut using a utility knife. However I used scissors in the video as this was easier to get the rounded edges. What are your tricks for cutting unusual shapes?

Yes! Bingo! Oh I love the Garden Cafe Kit 🤩, so much that I didn’t modify much of that kit at all. I think I only added one of those white card swipe machines and a computer tabling system (and removing the one/two plants as you can see in this ahaha) to modern it up a little. @@azukibeanhobbies The Garden Cafe.. itwas love at first sight for me. It was my first kit and I didn't even know that it was that small and hard to do a miniature kit. LOL. But I did it anyway. I just added my name on the entrance door and signages. Also changed the menu and turned the currency into pesos (I'm from The Philippines 😆), added some anime flyers on the table, and changed the laptop screensaver. I would love to see your card swipe machine and computer tabling system. Did you happen to video record it? I have 4 completed kits so far and my favorite kit is the Book Cafe which I turned into a music store cafe named GACKT Cafe. It's a tribute to my favorite Japanese singer GACKT. It's still in progress but I'm turning all the books into CDs and DVDs, photobooks, magazines, and posters of him. The kit is originally blue but mine is black. I've also added a working wall clock made from a wrist watch, and a small TV, which is actually a very small android phone. 😆

But it’s basically just a little block of wood painted white 🤣 … and the tabling computer I stole from the Music Box Carousel Cafe where I added the Totoros … all mix and match 😂
