Thanks Big Dawg - I wanted to get someone's take on this who already owned a Wired Freedom for comparison. The big difference for me is that the E Cells includes free shipping vs. a $250 charge for the Wired. That's a huge difference even though they're priced similarly.
Well the $250 "shipping" charge AND the $75 shipping insurance and sales tax = and additional =$325 right off the bat plus it's pretty easy to get a$100 off discount code so now we are at $425 and then sale tax, which is another $225 so it's closer to a $600 savings AND the wired is a higher quality product
I think most people are either underrating or completely overlooking the upgraded controller on the 5 star. A thermogel potted controller in metal housing with cooling fins, bolted to the frame is a huge factory upgrade over Wired's controller in plastic housing with straps. Getting heat away from the electric components is the most important thing for longevity. There's no noticeable difference upfront in performance from those kinds of upgrades, the difference comes out years down the road. When I saw they were doing that on their website I stopped shopping around and bought the bike. I think eCells is looking for issues that most of their customer base doesn't even know they need.

We kept our Fedex guy fit for years too......lol. Around year 2 out of the 4yrs he's been delivering, I tipped him with a free e-bike that was sitting in the garage. He loves it and now he takes extra care of us and the packages.
Oh nice! Its actually almost never the same guy where I live. Out of all the bikes I've had delivered, only 2 times have they actually brought the bike all the way up to the 2nd story! I'm sure when they pull up and see the building, part of the dies on the inside lol

My neighbor got his today exactly the same. We got his all put together charged his battery all the way up and maxed out his settings. He took it out for a ride and loved the speed. I grabbed my Wired we took a quick ride. His bike was able to keep up. We did race and my Wired wasted him to be fair I'm shunt modded so it wasn't really a contest. So it's a nice clone of my wire freedom seems slightly heavier. I think people will be happy with the bike🍻
@matthewmorin4926 his display said he maxed at 37.8. I hit 40.6 on my *shunt modded freedom. That's respectable he's about 210 I'm 230. After riding his 5 star I'd say it's dead even with a stock freedom though it just feels heavier that might be the wheels being heavier something about it was different🤷♂️ He's happy with his I'm happy with mine win win🍻
@@DevelopmentProjects-ei2biIt allows the controller to put more power into the motor. It will likely burn the controller and motor out sooner than stock.

I wonder how quickly they are shipping at present? They have so many upgrade options and variations, that sometimes less is better in my opinion. Also, I don’t believe it actually comes with all of those things because the tire pump, for example, is an accessory as are some of the bags, but I’m not positive.
I agree with the less is more statement. If I was going to order a bike, I would get the base model and possibly the gold wheels. I guess we will have to wait until more people get their bikes to know about the accessories. I don't think they sent me anything special, assuming its the same thing everyone will get.. but not 100% sure

does the dual star come with the bag and toolkit? Mine SHOULD be in next week and my ride today on my older bike was the first time when I needed tools and I didn't have what I needed BUT the trail provided which was nice.
I am so happy this wasnt the scam it seemed to be at first and was actually produced. Looks really cool. I like the added touch of 5 stars on the upper frame rail. These displays show lots of great info. But one thing that would seem so simple to have is a clock. Great display units though! Look forward for more on them! :D

Just got mine about a week ago. Sorry but, first thing I did was take off the 5 star badging on the front. It just looked cheap and made the bike look toyish to me. Much more impressive with them gone. But that's just me.

Funny vid, and Great unboxing chit head ! I seem to like the shinny black better than the mat black. The stickers pop nice. Ordered a beautiful blue Five Star with Torque sensor and dual crown fork upgrades, and ended up only spending $14 more than I payed for my Freedom bike ! The Five Star automatically comes with 203 front rotor and Potted fined aluminum 40 amp controller and suspension arm upgrades ! I'm guessing after I experience a torque sensor on a powerful bike, I will have to upgrade My Freedom as well.
I'm interested to see how people like the torque sensors. These bikes have the best use of cadence sensors that I've used, so it doesn't make me feel like going to a torque sensor is a must.
Crap, I got sucked into subbing. This is the bike I want. Can't wait til you road test it. I configured mine out with pretty much all the options for $3548. That's not including the 5% discount he is offering. I like how you can also get custom colors. It'll be worth it for the color I want.
Mine didn't have it on them! My FedEx people were an actual husband and wife team, and they really impressed me with the teamwork they displayed. I'll have a comparison video ready by Sunday.
Flat Out doesn't work and on top of that it makes your bike have a hop to it do to the liquid being forced to one side of the tube. Especially how much you have to put in these tires.
How so? I've seen a great video that shows the effectiveness of flatout. Maybe you just had a bad experience using it and it doesn't stop all flats anyway.

If you just watch videos then they don't give you the truth because they are most likely trying to get sponsored or something that has to do with their benefit. I never used it until I got an ebike and got a couple of flats in a couple weeks. I used it exactly like it says but after I put it in I noticed a hop. Realized it's the flat out accumulated in one spot so the weight of it in one spot off-balanced so it gives you an annoying hop when you ride. I also got a puncture in my tire with flat out in it and the stuff flew all over the back of my bike. Tried flipping it over, adding air and rotating slowly so it would seal. It never did. Air just kept coming out.
@@drzzit9666 Well I mean with these two things combined (the hop and the flats) it's an experience I learned from and that I don't want again. I just swapped the janky ebike tires for some motorcycle tires. Completely fixed both problems. No hop and no flat tires.

@ralexking I would recommend it, Lots of people have tons of miles with little to no issues. the derailer can come out of adjustment but other than that it's solid
I know the pump is an option. I guess what I’m saying is that they have too many options. I would prefer that they justvv put the bike together with some sort of package and maybe have a second package option and not all these other add-ons like different wheels and tires and basket or no basket or different light and so forth. it’s really hard to know how much it would actually cost me because I don’t know enough about all of those other options and unusual manufactures.

I am, however, extremely upset with Ecells for shipping a UA-camr of your high stature a basic version of the bicycle. You should have received their most upgraded customized bike possible. 8/9/24 Ordered mine Tuesday , shipped Wednesday and received it today , Friday. Unbelievable to get it in 3 days.

Hey dude can you or anyone let me know what c-5 does ? I just got mine in today and it was only on 3
C5 is the power setting. 3 will give you full power but there is a delay. 4 is the lowest, and 10 gives full power right away.

Awesome unboxing, I hope your enemies I mean, UA-cam competitors don’t take you beating them to the punch too personally. I am, however, extremely upset with Ecells for shipping a UA-camr of your high stature a basic version of the bicycle. You should have received their most upgraded customized bike possible. And in white! I’m hoping it was just a clerical error and they will take care of this in an expedient manner.
I actually wanted the base model bike since thats what I assume most people would be getting. That being said.. I do wish I had the gold wheels !

More subscribers than views in one day? Randomly losing 100 subs in one day (probably because they are fake). What a joke. Always good to spot the fraud.
