I liked 4DX for certain movies like topgun maverick was really worth watching it in 4DX , i saw it in 3D as well but 4DX was more involving in that movie and also it's personal preference.
On the other hand I preferred watching it in IMAX. I watched it first in laser Imax at SCW,it was immersive but the screen size was small. So,I rewatched it in Logix Imax and size made the difference for me more than minimal difference with Laser. Now a bigger IMAX LASER SCREEN with 69×40 feet IMAX IS AT PRIYA IMAX,VASANT Vihar. So,I will watch Mission Impossible Final Reckoning after watching the teaser. It's gonna be so good. I will rewatch it in Screen X at Inox Pacific at Jasola or Cinepolis Avenje 4dx depending on the content of the movie but most likely the rewatch will be in Screen X. And dolby cinemas is a fake schtick in India, they lie about their technology. 99% of the dolby cinemas use single 2k laser projection 😂😂😂😂 not even dual 2k laser projection let alone single 4k laser projection and forget about dual 4k projection. The AMC theatres in the US are the best for Dolby and those theatres are even better than 1:90:1 laser Imax screens in India😂😂😂. India is so fat behind in technology. I'm not a movie guy and I hadn't watched any movie in IMAX till Tom Cruise got my butt in Top Gun Maverick for the first time in IMAX and then for Mission Impossible dead reckoning and for Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning,I got to watch it in the AMC theatres in Lincolnsquare,US dolby format because the movie wasn't filmed for IMAX and trust me the AMC dolby premium format screen quality is times better than the best IMAX laser in INDIA. The dolby theatres in INDIA are a massive scam in India. It'd not worth any penny. If I could watch Mission Impossible Final Reckoning next year in the AMCs again in US,I'd do it in a flinch but my Uncle visit us after 5 years. So,it wont happen but go for IMAX laser,4dx at the Cinepolis DLF AVENUE SAKET if you are a 4dx fan because the 4dx screen at DLF avenue is big and has sharp contrast, more 4dx gimmicks including snow. Mission Impossible Final Reckoning which is the eighth film in the Mission Impossible ftanchise has sequences in snow,submarine,air and mine chases. Go watch it on the biggest screen possible
IMAX 3D is the best in the market today for watching 3d movies. Watched many movies but Imax experience of AVENGERS ENDGAME WAS just Mind-boggling. still gets goosebumps sometimes

I watched Wakanda Forever in MX4D today for the first time and WOW it is a unique experience just amazing. You need to experience this if you can. Like IMAX is also the best where you get to see extra screenspace but yeah you can toggle between these two when you want.
IMAX types : 1. IMAX 70mm(traditional system from 80s,90s- Resolution : 18k) - *1.43:1* squarish screen ...."Real IMAX " 2. IMAX digital (new tech, 2k or 4k for LASER) - *1.43:1 or 1.89:1* squarish screen...."Digital IMAX/LieMAX" FYI : All the theatres in today's time has 2.4:1 shorter screen which is an industry standard. Now, 99% of films from 2 decades are mostly shooting with digital IMAX since IMAX 70mm requires too much man power for its gigantic cameras at shooting locations and is very expensive.... So digital IMAX cameras were developed for the same aspect ratio but with lesser resolution like 2k/4k. Endgame, infinity war and all other movie are digitally IMAX shot at 1.89:1 AR... And only handfull of ppl at industry like Christopher Nolan use IMAX 70mm that too not for whole movie but for some shots. Now, India 🇮🇳 Prasad IMAX license got expired so those IMAX ppl took away their system from the India's largest screen. 3 places we have real IMAX 70MM - 1. Ahmedabad (working only documentaries in a museum) 2. MUMBAI Wadala dome- 70mm Projector is there but not working because no IMAX 70mm films are being produced.(but screen is 1.89:1 and not 1.45:1 traditional). Also digital dual Projectors are there for digital IMAX films like endgame,nwh, etc 3. Prasad IMAX Hyderabad ( not present from a decade I think) So technically there is no reason to be upset that there's no real IMAX 70mm screen & Projector system working in India (Wadala has) as no real IMAX 70mm films are being made. Only digital IMAX is a trend now with 1.89:1 AR at digital IMAX Theatres around India. Bonus : Always take center seat in any theatre and never too backside because when you try to sit closer to screen then your eye peripheral vision will be completed covered with screen picture and not obstructions like side walls or exit door lights. And offcourse the sound experience is the best in center as sound engineers calibrate sound by sitting towards center. My personal choice and conclusion : "IMAX with LASER" is the best cinema technology you can witness till date in India. In Mumbai at 📍PVR ICON at PHEONIX PALLADIUM. In Delhi at 📍 PVR : Select City Walk

Dolby Cinemas are present all over the world in select locations but none in India yet. I went to one in London and the experience is mindblowing! Especially if you understand DV and Dolby Atmos.
Watched Wakanda Forever in PVR XL LASER HDR 3D with Dolby Atmos. Like Utsav said, darker and 3D converted pictures but audio was good. If you want to have extreme viewing experience at home, consider Sony X90K 55+inches with IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Vision/Atmos 120FPS. It's gonna be my next purchase.
I am a huge huge fan of IMAX screens, Have been watching in IMAX since 2007, First IMAX movie I saw was Spiderman 3 (2007). Since then have been watching almost every year atleast 1 movie every year. Avatar 2009 twice and Avatar 2 both were mind blowing experience
I watched it today in 3D Dolby Atmos in INOX. It was the best experience to see Shuri as the new Black Panther and the scene where she meets the son of T'Challa was mind blowing. Marvel knows the best way to leave the fans shocked after every movie. Almost everytime they made us cry, but this was the time when Inwas happy after seeing the post credit scenes.

In addition to that, double images affect sharpness. That's why great Cinematographers avoid making their film in 3D since it would ruin the experience. Proper 3D setup is damn expensive. The glasses are run by batteries where the shutter is timed accordingly thereby reducing the above mentioned issues to a large extent. Lazer projection has somewhat reduced the issues of low illumination but 3D is yet to develop a lot. I'd prefer a proper 2D film than a compromised 3D film.

I regret watching Wakanda Forever in INOX 3D, it was too dark and majority of the time I had to remove my glasses to see whats happening. Also they made the subtitles annoyingly big and 3D and that bugged me a lot

@@mrmilindnair honestly if you only talk video, then imax will have the largest screen! Most cinema projection systems still are only 2k in india. With imax laser and Dolby vision and now PVR PXL, 4k finally has arrived. But very few locations have them. Infact, Dolby Cinema still is not available in india. Imax does not adhere to typical Dolby audio formats like Atmos, hence it's a debate. Many prefer Atmos to imax for audio. Even if PVR gives you 4k in PXL, it can't beat the imax screen size. So it's a personal choice, if you prefer 4k clarity over screen size. For audio I would still probably go with imax than Atmos. Imax laser uses dual 2k projection that gives 4k. Very few locations in india. If given a choice, imax laser would be my pick, especially for 3D!

Hyderabad's IMAX (70MM )was one of the best in Asia, i saw people from all over India came to see Avatar here, its gone after interstellar, i recently watched spiderman NWH in banglore and wonder women 84 in delhi IMAX, those were completely crap(lieMAX). is there any IMAX in India like the one hyderabad use to have? I watched Avatar 2 in Dolby Atmos 5.1 and I would say audio quality was very much impressive
4DX is amazing. It's expensive but worth it.
But movies with length more than 3 hours like avtar 2, its really hard to survive in 4dx for 3< hours.

IMAX Enhanced is only on "Disney Plus" , not in indian version of Disney Plus Hotstar.

I regret watching Wakanda Forever in INOX 3D, it was too dark and majority of the time I had to remove my glasses to see whats happening. Also they made the subtitles annoyingly big and 3D and that bugged me a lot

@@mrmilindnair honestly if you only talk video, then imax will have the largest screen! Most cinema projection systems still are only 2k in india. With imax laser and Dolby vision and now PVR PXL, 4k finally has arrived. But very few locations have them. Infact, Dolby Cinema still is not available in india. Imax does not adhere to typical Dolby audio formats like Atmos, hence it's a debate. Many prefer Atmos to imax for audio. Even if PVR gives you 4k in PXL, it can't beat the imax screen size. So it's a personal choice, if you prefer 4k clarity over screen size. For audio I would still probably go with imax than Atmos. Imax laser uses dual 2k projection that gives 4k. Very few locations in india. If given a choice, imax laser would be my pick, especially for 3D!

Hyderabad's IMAX (70MM )was one of the best in Asia, i saw people from all over India came to see Avatar here, its gone after interstellar, i recently watched spiderman NWH in banglore and wonder women 84 in delhi IMAX, those were completely crap(lieMAX). is there any IMAX in India like the one hyderabad use to have? I will go anywhere in India to watch next Avatar
