You will love the Tanya and commentaries. Reading the Torah is wonderful, I can't tell you how great it is, but the commentaries and books like the Tanya and Mishna. Learning the letters is a great place to start too
The thing about the Torah is, you can spend your whole life studying it, and never be done. As your understanding grows, it reads differently, at least that's my understanding. The rest of the Bible reads differently as well.
@@stefanx2489 reading it is one thing, reading the commentaries and discussing it with scholars and other students on the schedule it is meant to be read on is a totally different thing. There is reason to that as there are 4 basic levels to it and 5 during a specific time of year, speaks the importance of reading/studying at the right time with the right people. Nonetheless, you should feel good about what you are doing and I am in no way trying to belittle your intentions.
Shabbat shalom from Los Angeles. I recommend your book to my clients I treat in rehab programs and they universally love it. The Torah speaks to everyone. Thank you
I love this. Love is always concerned about the well being of the other. A worldwide favorite (and very misunderstood Jew) once said, “Greater love has no one than this, that he should lay down his life for his brother.” It’s not about making demands and control, it’s love. Love guides softly, but fear and self interest make demands at the expense of the other
I like this, assuming ppl do care, bc deep down I think most do, so its a better perspective and principle to look through and speak through. Much better than assuming ppl don't care. Probably seems simple to most but this is really gonna help me. Toda ❤

I have no personal faith, but if this man's insights come from his, I'm truly considering reading the Torah.

@parathings I'm almost done reading it now. I've read the Bible and the Quran so it seems fitting to end where it all began...
