I’m 69, just finished turning my GMC Acadia into camper and went on maiden voyage weekend before last. Stayed at a farm with campsite for first time as I’m female and still had some anxiety about it. But, it was a great time and I’m looking forward to more of it! Also brought my harmonica so smiled when you brought it out. Nice video John.

I’m glad you had a good time. There’s nothing like the freedom of being on the open road. you still have a lot to learn but I think that’s the fun part about it. I know I inspired a lot of people to get on the road but I never thought I would inspire somebody to buy a harmonica. Good luck and have fun.

I always hate when your videos end. I can keep watching forever. This was a nice tranquil very therapeutic 25 min video that I enjoyed very much. I like the addition of the sound effects with everything… That was funny. I love watching you cook too. And oh that heavenly coffee. I love that you’re happy John. Keep doing what you’re doing. Cheers buddy!

Great stir fry. You eat better out of your Jeep then I do in my home. Your very good at finding flushing toilets in the wilderness lol! Great new sound effects. Have you decided where you might be spending the winter? Keep these awesome
    videos coming.

Paul Hoffman One good thing about this lifestyle is you never have to worry about clogging up the toilet bowl. I have been experimenting with different sounds to make it more interesting. When it gets cold I will probably head down to Arizona maybe Texas and Louisiana. The Best plan is not to make a plan.

Entertaining video. I use to have a 98 Cherokee Classic. I loved it but being from south west michigan it endured a lot of road salt in its years and the unibody was almost rusted through. It had developed the dreaded death wobble at about 55 mph. No doubt you’ve experienced that with yours. Im now have 2004 Lexus Gx470 set up for camping.
Id like to know more about your cooking shelf in the hatch area and about fly fishing. I’ve never fly fished and would like to know the basics just to get started. Happy Trails

Man, that’s an old video you’re watching there. I am from New Jersey and everything gets rusted out in Jersey. My whole frame was totally rusted out and I had to weld in frame Steffner. The motor went out on me about four years ago but other than that the Jeep is doing fantastic. I have been driving it off-road for 4 and a half years here out west and all the way up to the arctic ocean this year on the dumpster highway without any problems. The front end is still looking good and I never had a death wobble. You gotta keep watching my channel. I’m always putting out useful information.

I’ve had that mug for about 20 years now. There is just something special about a ceramic mug and having coffee in the morning. When you are overland things get bounced around a lot. The mug is still hanging.

    ua-cam.com/video/lGWL7Pp9igg/v-deo.html
My 4 wheel drive Cherokee includes a full Kitchen on heavy duty slides which enables ARB Fridge & ClearView Pantry to pull completly out of the Jeep's cargo area, Roof-Top Tent (RTT), 10'pop-up screen room, and a pop-up bathroom/changing room. I can carry up to 7.8 Gallons of potable water (1 WaterPort & two 2 gallon plastic RotoPlex carriers). My Yeti Goal Zero 1250 power generator provides 3 days of electric before needing recharge. The Goal Zero power generator recharges either with AC or while the Jeep engine is running. The power generator can also be recharged with solar panels but my current energy needs don't necessitate additional alternative charging capabilities. My 15000 BTU portable stove can use either Butane or Propane for fuel. The campers' assets are totally modular which affords the flexibility to deploy optional resources as needed. If boondocking/primitive camping, I have my own water & electric power for up to 3 days. If staying in a campsite which provides water, electric, and showers/bathrooms, I can just use my RTT and kitchen. My pop-up screen room gives me a place of refuge from mosquitoes in under 2 minutes. BTW ... I always get a lot of interest and "thumbs up" comments from curious lookielou's who walk up and ask questions when the sunshade is deployed on the Jeep's rear hatch.
