This is the best vid I could find on this particular product on this particular so far! Although I have a 2016. I’m sure it’s the same setup as far as wiring goes
Yes everything should be the same on a 2016. The body is still the same. Wiring the same. I put the video up Becuase there literally wasn’t anything on it anywhere lol. Wanted others to see
Very helpful in helping make a decision to purchase one for my 2020 F150. Gotta love chicken lights. Also sweet running board lights. Been thinking about adding these as well. Did you connect them them to function as turn signals as well?
No I didn’t make the running board lights turn signals. I could have but I didn’t want to trying running the wire through the floor board and into the cab. I just wanted the marker lights anyways so just getting power was all I needed
Great video. I cant find these lights for my 2018 chevy 2500 hd. I see they are made for the half ton trucks but dont see where it shows fitment for the 3/4 ton trucks. I figured the cabs were basically the same
I’m pretty sure the cabs are the same. I mean they’re identical inside so I figure they would be outside besides the front end of corse. But I’m not 100% certain if they are
@@nkmoose6360 I don’t know if there is or not but I had already tapped into my rear running lights for my side steps so it was easier for me to tap in there to get them. I don’t think I’ve seen any videos out there though. Might have to see if there is something where they tap into any running lights just to get an idea
@@T3CHNOskillz I'm talking about the Amber running lights by the door . I don't want the function either but I hooked the negative up with the negative of my tail and the positive up with my runner light from my tail light and it caused hyper flashing
@@T3CHNOskillz That's probably why I have halogen bulbs and it's relaying a message to my computer that it's drawing less power than the halogen bulbs because they are LED's it's throwing hyper flashing I have to hook them up to my bed lighting I have LED bed lighting so that would be a proper LED bulb it's different with the newer trucks sucks such a pain

Hello, I wanted to ask you if when you go at speed the air is noisy or not?
There’s no real loud air noise or anything different really. Driving with your windows down sounds the same. It’s pretty aero dynamic
Damn the step lights are bright AF..... I don't think I'd want them that bright while driving, maybe when entering/exiting. Might trying that out.

What did you use to hide the wire on the windshield?
It comes with a small tube that you can hide the wires right down the windshield
Ok cool I don’t want to drill any holes in my truck
How long is the led strip?

Any issues with hyperflashing have a 2017 and I tried to hook up to parking lights and they flashed bad
For the side marker lights or my mirrors? The side markers I only have hooked up as running lights. I didn’t want the turn signal function.

What mirrors are you running on the truck?
Trail ridge from 1A auto. I got another video on those alone
Any noticeable noise or mpg reduction with these?
No noise at all. And haven’t really noticed a diffrence in MPG but I drive a lot of city so hard to tell when I get 14 no matter what pretty much
do they come in white led?
I don’t believe so. Atleast when I ordered mine I didn’t have an option for white
