A hawk fish, blenny, halichoeres type wrasse, royal gramma, pistol shrimp with a shrimp goby Setup in one of the 120g tanks would absolutely capture the eyes of both saltwater and freshwater hobbyists in my opinion. A Clownfish community In another 120g system with anemones would also be amazingly fascinating to watch on this channel and would really inspire people, make it happen joey! :)
Nah not a clown fish aquarium coz its a normal and we averyday we saw it so why dont he do a another community aquarium and among other florida fish youtuber joey only do better salt aquarium
What I dont get about Temperature Acclimating is that we have all been in water got out and jumped in and know that when you get out water you feel cold then the water feels warmer. The same must happen to fish, if a fish is taken out 25c water and added to 22c water or 28c the period out the water surely negates any slight temperature change as it would be cold for the fish in normal air then warm again?
No. That is nothing like how it is to a COLD blooded fish. They have no homeostasis ensuring consistent body temperature. There body is adapted INTERNALLY and externally to the surrounding temperature. It is nothing like warm blooded mammalian response to surrounding temperature. Thier literal organs can be shocked by the temperature change. Like running at 20c then straight up to 28c could Absolutly stress and put pressure on Cold blooded organs.
That was good hearted of you to treat those yellow murderers with such care and kindness. I'm scarred for life. Joey, I need help. lol. 'back in the day' I had a yellow tang destroy a thrivig mixed reef community all by himself overnight. He was super healthy, happy, well-fed, blah blah blah. He just decided one day to kill. It's my personal opinion that they acclimate fast because they're mindless murdering idiots. I have personally seen a single yellow tang take down a horse crossing a stream in Idaho. Man, that tank is HUGE! Hey Joey, got any TP? Or some worn out socks? Kinda runnin' low here... Thanks!
Very cool you caught the ray doing that on camera! Who else remembers when the baby ray pinned and destroyed the rainbow fish that was bothering her? xD
Me too! And i always catch fish 1 hour after the lights turned out so the fish are slower and sleepy so they are easier to catch. It also helps on stress levels.
Do whatever the saltwater equivalent to the group of 100 cardinal tetras would be lol. You never see large groups of small fish in saltwater aquariums.
I hope you post more frequent in this season cause a lot of people would be inside due to covid 19, i love these vids and this channel will be my company for the following days. Keep safe joey and happy fish keeping
I love this. I have had a small tank for years with tetras and I just started my 55 gal 6 weeks ago and just added fish last Thursday. You are inspiring people and you are great at it. I hope you and your family are happy and given the world today, I hope you all are healthy too.
I work at a fish store and Tang's seem to be some of the hardest fish to keep.I didn't notice a kelp strip in your tank is there another way that you can make sure that they always are fed and happy with kelp without having a strip of it to ruin the water quality
Dont know why joey but those stone setup is just not going well with that tank your other tanks looks so good but dont know why but this tank doesn't seems fascinating to me atleast just my frank opinion. if you too think the same plz move the stones and rescape it And if u think it's looking good just leave as it is🙂😅 But some corals will be great for that tank Thats for sure
Hey Joey I'm a new viewer from the last couple of months and I just want to say that during these freaky times I find your content comforting and a nice distraction from being well honestly a bit scared just wondering if you and your family are cool and all squared away if you would maybe be kind enough to put out a couple of more videos this week? I'd be super curious to see how these guys all look even in a day or two, really even just rambling or talking/Livestream wouldn't mind at all. If you don't feel like it that's okay too man, I understand lots of people are out of sorts right now and I don't think anyone will begrudge you your you time. (Did I really just write you your you? Yikes!)
Have you thought about getting Banded Coral Shrimp to help keep fish and tank clean .Love your saltwater tank actually I love all your tanks. Every week I look forward to your videos keep up the great work I enjoy you so much. Have a great day and stay healthy wash your hands.
Looks great! Only thing is, I had a clown trigger and tangs with my Cortez rays. Unfortunately, the clown would bite at the spots, opening wounds for the tangs to chew on too. The rays died of infections pretty quickly. Wouldn’t mix rays and triggers anymore. Good luck!
Joey, years ago I placed a small Clown Trigger in with Blue Spot Ray and the Trigger would bite the Ray on the Blue dots ! Same thing happened with large Pomacanthus and Holocantus Angels.
@@zafishguy5166 He also has 2 other saltwater aquariums, and fish that are hard to acclimate have never been a problem for joey before I dont see how it would be a problem now.
Yellow tangs are such gorgeous fish. I love the mix of the approachable, affordable fish and the more expensive, more sensitive fish! Absolutely a fan of the new direction for the Gallery. I LOVE seeing what an experienced fish keeper can do but as a more casual hobbyist, I'm looking forward to seeing some ideas that I could use at home :)
Why don't you like keeping corals and scaped reef tanks? I think they will really look good cause you have ample amount of equipments to create and maintain one
Hes trying to keep the tanks as relatable to his viewers as possible. Hence the lack of stuff like coral because not everyone can afford to maintain them.
Coral is a lot of upkeep on water parameters. Not suitable for beginners. So perhaps he wants to show case beginner tanks that everyone can do with less work and hopefully he'll go in Joey style and make a cool ass reef tank.
If you had a clue, you’d be able to answer your own question. The guy has a lot of tanks to maintain. A single reef tank of that size would require most of if not all of his effort.
Some kind of small sharks. Seahorses would be lovely too! Not sure but someday I want my own tanks again! I LOVE bettas. Are Flower horns saltwater fish?
Beautiful! I absolutely love the rays, so adorable and cute! Also, I really appreciate the contrast between yellow and blue, witch pretty much goes through the whole tank. Many hugs from your Swedish fans and friends! 😊🇸🇪
But isn't it so that if you have good conditions an the fish feel fine you can Quarantäne them for years and no illness appears? How can you be sure that they don't carry something which isn't break out yet if you don't medicate them? Sorry for my English 😅🙏... Greetings from Germany
potters angel, potters wrasse, Harlequin Tusk, Blue Spotted Puffer, Gold Spotted Rabbitfish, Vanderbuilt Chromis, Black Neon Dottyback, i could go on forevery listing fish, what would benice to see i lots of diffent colours and sizes. love how many salt water tanks you have and look forward to many more to come
"In case you're not familiar with a quarantine system"
I think the entire world is familiar with quarantine systems at the moment ;)
😂😂😂😂
I can’t get over those stingrays. They’re so beautiful.
Joey... The only person on this planet that has a aqua decor background in his quarantine tank. lol

Dman even the fish are getting out of quarantine before me
lol
😂😂
"if you don't know what quarantine is..." The entire world is quarantined, we know bro!!
Ragged Company he records like a month in advance so that would have been before a lot of the quarantine talk
@@CaptainRex5013 I know. I was just making a joke. Although this stuff started in China a few months ago I think
Yea in 1 december this thing started
Would love to see some coral in here. Even just straightforward, easy to maintain coral.
I still think the tank would look better with sand but the fish look great!

Bring the sharks back!!! It went so well with the shark eggs :)
i remember when a freshwater stingray caught one of the rainbows in the big tank. :D
Very cool you caught the ray doing that on camera! Who else remembers when the baby ray pinned and destroyed the rainbow fish that was bothering her? xD
I swear.... If I hear the word "quarantine" again today. Lol
When netting fish, I always chase the fish with a small net into a much larger stationary net. It’s much easier 👍
Me too :) !
Me too! And i always catch fish 1 hour after the lights turned out so the fish are slower and sleepy so they are easier to catch. It also helps on stress levels.
I'm starting to think, through all these years of watching you, those rays might be the most beautiful fish you've had, period. Absolutely incredible.
Now I totally understand why quartine is important. Thank you China
SKY I laughed so hard at this omg
🤣😂🤣
Get another eel for that tank
Do whatever the saltwater equivalent to the group of 100 cardinal tetras would be lol. You never see large groups of small fish in saltwater aquariums.
100 barlette anthias would look really cool
I hope you post more frequent in this season cause a lot of people would be inside due to covid 19, i love these vids and this channel will be my company for the following days. Keep safe joey and happy fish keeping
Joey do you consider in getting any coral ?
Joey.. preeeety sure everyone knows what quarentine is with our global climate🤣🤣
would love to see a Harlequin tusk
It would be amazing if you would try hatching bamboo sharks from eggs again!
8weeks in the future: On this episode we are showing how to fillet aquarium fish for survival 😂 jk keep up the videos

I think you should put a 3d background in the big saltwater tank since
there's no corals going in anyways and the tank looks like a pile of rocks
Daan van Dongen yess
Have you thought about getting Banded Coral Shrimp to help keep fish and tank clean .Love your saltwater tank actually I love all your tanks. Every week I look forward to your videos keep up the great work I enjoy you so much. Have a great day and stay healthy wash your hands.
You should get some anemones and stick it on the rocks. It will look awesome!! Love your videos. Keep it up joey!!
Get the juvenile emperor angelfish next please :)! Would love to see its evolution
Good luck!
Porcupine puffer, sailfin Tang, foxface rabbit(2 types)
Joey, years ago I placed a small Clown Trigger in with Blue Spot Ray and the Trigger would bite the Ray on the Blue dots ! Same thing happened with large Pomacanthus and Holocantus Angels.
Triggers are pretty, but they love biting...
Those rays are so entertaining, great addition
i know you said the rays dont need the sand, but sand would be nice in there, even a thin layer. weekly agitation should be enough to prevent gasses
Interesting, The Rays looked excited too have company. They're most likely saying Tangs' a lot Joey.
Instead of sand, could you do a faux bottom? Something that’ll keep it easy to clear out the stingers but spruce up the look a bit.
Social distancing; the new phrase for a quarantine tank.
If you had 5 yellow tangs, you could call them Wu tang (wu meaning 5 in mandarin). Wu tang clan ain't nothing to mess with!
Salt water tanks are adding more excitement to the show!
Get a queen angel or a flame angel
The tank kind of looks too empty. I don't like the rocks alone with no substrate. Eagerly waiting for the updates!
marine betta would be really cool, or a batfish
A marine betta would likely be outcompeted for food here and batfish are tough to acclimate and I doubt joey would want to do it
@@zafishguy5166 He also has 2 other saltwater aquariums, and fish that are hard to acclimate have never been a problem for joey before I dont see how it would be a problem now.
A couple of clown fish and an anemones or a school of chromis the scape look good now as it has grown on me but coral would make it better
Get a dogface puffer! Absolutely adorable little fish!! ❤️ That's my dream fish 😍
I'd love to see a giant clam in there. So interesting.
Looks like the male ray is gaining some weight! glad to see him doing well!
I would love to see a starfish in one of the saltwater tanks.
The salty rays look awesome. Is it just my imagination or have these rays gotten bigger?
Definitely should some lyretail Anthias, and a hummingbird wrasse
Large anthia school would look dope. But are tough to keep.
That tank just keeps getting more and more awesome!! The tangs look great, and the rays are spectacular!!
Loving the yellow tang but does it need more different colours maybe even some clown fish?
Wow! A shoal of yellow tangs? Love it!
Get a blue queen angel or flame Angel 😇✌️
I only use specimen jars. Used a net on a gem tank and broke a fin off. I cried for a month......dont no what the next emotion will be
Gem tang
I loved watching the Ray fly around the tank. It's going to look awesome when they all come out 👍👍👍
Yea netting tangs is hard but..... u ever try to net a loach?
Some red fox face would be nice in there once the tank is more established for grazing. Or just rabbit fish in general are pretty cool grazers
I thought the tank looked bad. with the yellow tangs Amazing.
what a about some very simple soft Coral like pumping Xenia, briareum or sinularia just for the looks
You should get Naso tangs. They would seem like a good fit in the tank since they get big as well
🤔 hmm I think the tank needs the color green 💚 GREEN BIRD WRASSE!!! 💚💚💚😁🙏🏻
Joey you're my absolute favorite you tube fish keeper you do an amazing job setups and taking care of your fish
Sharks Joey! A marble and bandit or blue ribbon eel
are you going to try sharks again?
Is it just me or who else love the stingrays eyes.?
Anybody else trying to figure out the timeline by the length of Joeys hair?
Yellow tangs are such gorgeous fish. I love the mix of the approachable, affordable fish and the more expensive, more sensitive fish!

Let’s see a feeding next time 👍
Am I the only one who is hyped that he actually got saltwater agin
A green wolf eel would look nice. They don’t get too big
Love the salt water tanks so far! Definitely inspired
inspired by what? water in the tank? lolz
Keeping saltwater fish you tool
@@SuperKleinti you were just called a tool. Lolz
I thinka a group of schooling bannerfish would look amazing in that big tank.
Please get those achilles tang and the white cheek tang back they would look great in that tank

Everyone should know by now what quarantining is with everything happening lol
Wow!! Can't wait for the fresh waters
Emperor Angel, Queen Ange, Regal Angel, Goldflake Angel, a pair of Crosshatch Triggers. It will look awesome!!
maybe some red would be nice! maybe tomato clownfish!
or maybe some wrasses
Some kind of small sharks. Seahorses would be lovely too! Not sure but someday I want my own tanks again! I LOVE bettas. Are Flower horns saltwater fish?
Laura wilson seahorses would be cool, but they need very minimal flow, flower horns are also freshwater.
@@paddiewestiesipod he should do them in the cylinder tank
Yes i needed this for my time inside. Ty daddy.
The rays are majestic
You should put Green Star polyps in there and let's it grow like grass all over the rocks
I haven’t seen what’s happened to your bass since the last time u posted a vid about them which was 1 year ago ? Where did they goo
Good question
He gave them away I think before he took the racking system down
I too get violent when I poop 10:18
It’s so relaxing to watch the stingrays move! Good video once again Joey!
I like that tank structure. It gets a lot of hate. Smh. The fish seem to love it too.
