They are all usually "Afterlife Don't Real, God is dead or a monster and it's all eternal nonexistence or endless cycle of reincarnation and it's sccaaaaarrrrrryyyyyy". This one actually has an original and horrifying take on the afterlife. The idea that Heaven exists but the version we know is a lie, and everything is done in absolute necessity to keep the creator from destroying existence. Just chills..

It isn't malicious as it likely originally just saw it's creation as not really having any will of it's own. It was likely surprised when it's creation turned on it. It is now the prisoner of it's own creation, who now seek to prevent it from destroying it. The heads of heaven are the necessary slavemasters, not God itself. I see the story as less of God being a malicious being (many of these stories portray God as a cartoon villain), but rather more akin to a programmer who created the Alpha version of an AI but wants to scrap it to work out the bugs and release a new version but the AI became self aware and is keeping the programmer from doing so as long as it can hope.

As a catholic, the ending about God trying to unmake his creation and the belief he loves us keeping him bound made me think about a lot of things. I guess that’s what’s makes a good creepypasta.
To be clear, the links in the chain are the souls of people who died, went to Heaven, then refused to assist in keeping God bound, who are then taken to the spires and made into "material", and thus made into cubes and chiseled into links. As Daniel put it at 36:12 the links are "forged from the souls of everyone who won't make the Chains that Bind. They won't make the chain, they become the chain." The implication being all humans go to Heaven, either as workers or as material. Heaven exists, running like a simulation that cannot be turned off. Earth, being absent of God, could be considered Hell. That aside, yes, this is a very thought-provoking Pasta. Why did the angel-programs turn against God? Why did God want to unmake everything? I'm reminded of tvtropes' "Light is not Good" or "Hell of a Heaven" articles.

The audio in this is perfect!! Him meeting the seraphim is exactly how I imagine meeting an angel would be. Terror, confusion, happiness, anger, madness, adoration, despair. All at once and turned up to infinity.
No no, peace , bliss,and love is all you feel at the gates of heaven. I’m not necessary religious in the traditional sense but I feel as tho I was show the gates of heaven, and that’s everything it was just the deepest feelings of bliss peace and love that I never thought possible. But I was only shown the gates wasn’t my time and I couldn’t enter. It was magnificent and helped me with my extreme anxiety with death.

Watching reaction channels that steal the works of others then dox those that oppose them with UA-cam doing almost nothing. UA-cam plays favorites for sure bc out of every channel I’ve seen this one is the best ten times over. I like the idea that god programmed angels to guard all creation so well that when he decided to destroy creation the angels decided to bind him to protect creation. Gave me a really iRobot meets Supernatural vibe 🙌🏽

When god became a threat to his own creation the angels fell back on their primary directive - protect creation - and prevented god from destroying creation. The angels are kinda like the robots from iRobot. When the robot AI realizes the greatest threat to humans/the world are humans it decides to take over the world to protect humans from destroying ourselves/the world.
Dante had a trilogy. He described hell, purgatory and heaven. Dante's inferno is simply the first of the rest. Dante's description of heaven is really just mega bright and each heaven is a different planet in our solar system.

In regards to haunting the sword, the way I look at it is it seems like almost all if not all religions have ghosts of some sort and a common theme with ghosts is they have unfinished business or attachments to the physical realm. So by making your goals something that can't be finished that definitely attaches you to the physical world then there is an extremely high chance that it should be possible. I figure the ashes in the sword should make it more compatible with you since it is literally you in the sword.
The only way it would really be impossible is if the atheists are right but most other after lives are reliant on a single religion being right. Mines just reliant on a single religion being wrong.

The narration and the sound effects (especially the choirs and the warbling drone of the cherubs) are fantastic, and Dark Somnium is my new favorite creepypasta channel. But I've gotta say, this protagonist is the ultimate Karen. He's getting dragged through a sinister, alien Heaven filled with incomprehensible beings, and every step of the way he's stomping his feet and demanding to speak to the manager.
To disguise the hope of where to go for Christians and show them a terrible lie or maybe truth of what they tried their entire life to earn or taking that away from them is a perfect idea of hellish torture

First off it wouldn't be a change since Daniel has greeted 144,000 2nd "God" wouldn't have given that command...since he wants to undo all of creation...the new guy included...it wouldn't be worried about who's greeting who to prepare them for the task of keeping it in tribulation in the 3rd heaven for all of eternity....according to the story anyways...

This reminds me of that episode of the Twilight Zone where after the man died he went down this country road and ran into this guy who was trying to get him to veer down this path by telling him it was heaven.
My dad died the day after fathers day 2018. A couple weeks later, I had a dream that I was dying of old age. I was scared of fading into nothingness, into non-existence. As I lay dying, my father communicated with me in the darkness from the other side. He told me not to worry. The nothingness I was fading into was nothing but a figment of my imagination and a glorious afterlife appeared. It was like rainbows. I literally saw rainbow colors emerge from darkness. Everything became rainbows. There were people made of rainbows and I was rainbow colored in a world with everyone who has ever died. Everyone was happy in the rainbow world and I was free of any anxiety or depression. Any physical pain or life regret was gone. I felt like a super healthy, wealthy, famous celebrity. I literally felt it. I have never felt that good at any time ever in my life except for in that dream. Then I woke up. I wanted to go back. It was a very pleasant dream. I felt like it was my father's way of communicating from beyond to tell me it is okay. I know it was just a dream, but I believe that is what awaits me after death now.
I’ve laid down for the night and listened to one narration and then chose this one right after. They usually put me right to sleep. But this one made me wanna stay partially awake so I could visualize what was going on. The descriptions of everything were amazing in my opinion. This one also felt different then the other ones. I am not a religious person what so ever but this was super intriguing!

I am so perplexed! How in the world is swamp dweller able to voice the character of Daniel so well?! In his own narrations, he is jerky and halting and just has a very unpleasant cadence, almost like an elementary school kid struggling to read. Yet when he read the part of Daniel, he absolutely nailed it! What was different about this part as opposed to his own channel?
This is my favorite story for many reasons, but your narration and differing vocals are what seals it for me. I love Daniel's echoy voice, that effect appeals to me greatly. Thank you! 💕

Everytime I hear this story, which has been a few times now, I picture the exact same place in my mind. From the pillars to the final stairs. My imagination is and always has been vivid, even as an adult. And Normally when I read a book, the places are different with each new read. But this version of heaven is seared into my brain. To the exact detail. Either the way you tell stories is absolutely on point. Or there is actually a sense of truth to this story. Obviously it's a work of fiction. But man, the images...

To make it work, I had to render the spectrum with an alpha layer, and the resulting file was 10+ GB, just for that! And then I had to add it in Premiere and render the final file, which took another 5 hours. Do fans really care, do you think?

A couple years ago I read the whole book of Revelation 4 times. After I read it the 1st time I had a dream (I was 18 at the time) about the world ending. I was a middle aged man around 35 and was apparently living in a big city with a family. I remember me walking towards my car when all of a sudden the earth below me starts to crack and before I knew it ripped open. I didn't die I was kind of flying or floating there observing as the earth was opening up and I could see the earth core swallowing up the cars and people falling in. I saw buildings collapsing and forests and trees burning and people scared. I wanted to do something but I was just floating there watching as the world began to go into utter chaos. I cant remember the rest of it but after the 3 and 4th time reading it I had another dream when I was 20 years old but this time it was a little different. I was apparently fighting off a beast (I might have been playing some games before bed that day XD)

I think that the already very hard to visualize depiction of heaven is the best way to do it. According to the Bible having is incomprehensible to humans, so this plays off that
Awesome story. An Angel came to me in a dream one time. A huge baby suggesting a cherub that spoke in a loud deep base voice. He was looking upwards into a light...a bluish white light specifically. I never forgot that detail.
Allow me to explain the “dead for 6minutes” there is about 6 minutes of actually dialogue. The other 34mins is description of setting, emotion.

To be clear, the links in the chain are the souls of people who died, went to Heaven, then refused to assist in keeping God bound, who are then taken to the spires and made into "material", and thus made into cubes and chiseled into links. As Daniel put it at 36:12 the links are "forged from the souls of everyone who won't make the Chains that Bind. They won't make the chain, they become the chain."
The implication being all humans go to Heaven, either as workers or as material. Heaven exists, running like a simulation that cannot be turned off. Earth, being absent of God, could be considered Hell.
That aside, yes, this is a very thought-provoking Pasta. Why did the angel-programs turn against God? Why did God want to unmake everything? I'm reminded of tvtropes' "Light is not Good" or "Hell of a Heaven" articles.

No no, peace , bliss,and love is all you feel at the gates of heaven. I’m not necessary religious in the traditional sense but I feel as tho I was show the gates of heaven, and that’s everything it was just the deepest feelings of bliss peace and love that I never thought possible. But I was only shown the gates wasn’t my time and I couldn’t enter. It was magnificent and helped me with my extreme anxiety with death.

@@fruitflyhunter it's pretty straightforward. The angels, at least in this story, were designed to protect god's creation. When god became a threat to his own creation the angels fell back on their primary directive - protect creation - and prevented god from destroying creation.
The angels are kinda like the robots from iRobot. When the robot AI realizes the greatest threat to humans/the world are humans it decides to take over the world to protect humans from destroying ourselves/the world.
I interpretated more like the angels would be wiped too, so they protected themselves

@@Starkiller1184 the ashes being embedded into the metal definitely can be and has been done. In regards to haunting the sword, the way I look at it is it seems like almost all if not all religions have ghosts of some sort and a common theme with ghosts is they have unfinished business or attachments to the physical realm. So by making your goals something that can't be finished that definitely attaches you to the physical world then there is an extremely high chance that it should be possible. I figure the ashes in the sword should make it more compatible with you since it is literally you in the sword.
The only way it would really be impossible is if the atheists are right but most other after lives are reliant on a single religion being right. Mines just reliant on a single religion being wrong.

Dante's inferno is the first part of a trilogy for hell, purgatory and heaven. And all are just as fucked up.
Dante made 3 books, i believe his journey was looking for someone in heaven, so he had to aknowledge his sins in hell, repent in purgatory, and ascend in heaven

My dad died the day after fathers day 2018. A couple weeks later, I had a dream that I was dying of old age. I was scared of fading into nothingness, into non-existence. As I lay dying, my father communicated with me in the darkness from the other side. He told me not to worry. The nothingness I was fading into was nothing but a figment of my imagination and a glorious afterlife appeared. It was like rainbows. I literally saw rainbow colors emerge from darkness. Everything became rainbows. There were people made of rainbows and I was rainbow colored in a world with everyone who has ever died. Everyone was happy in the rainbow world and I was free of any anxiety or depression. Any physical pain or life regret was gone. I felt like a super healthy, wealthy, famous celebrity. I literally felt it. I have never felt that good at any time ever in my life except for in that dream. Then I woke up. I wanted to go back. It was a very pleasant dream. I felt like it was my father's way of communicating from beyond to tell me it is okay. I know it was just a dream, but I believe that is what awaits me after death now.

His sacrifice and your belief in him is what saves you, not your actions or refrain from do actions. Living a good life is not enough to get you to heaven, but having faith is. You want proof of this, read one little verse called John 3:16.

I am so perplexed! How in the world is swamp dweller able to voice the character of Daniel so well?! In his own narrations, he is jerky and halting and just has a very unpleasant cadence, almost like an elementary school kid struggling to read. Yet when he read the part of Daniel, he absolutely nailed it! What was different about this part as opposed to his own channel?
This is my favorite story for many reasons, but your narration and differing vocals are what seals it for me. I love Daniel's echoy voice, that effect appeals to me greatly. Thank you! 💕

@@spence92727 Actually, when you die, your all your organs shut down, but your brain doesn't shut down until 3-5 minutes later so the original comment I think is actually on to something. I don't actually believe that heaven is a prison with a god that wants to destroy his creations. God has infinite love for all of us and heaven is everything you could ever want and more than enough to the point where human greed isn't even a factor and has beauty beyond imagination with endless knowledge at your fingertips and all of your loved ones that wait for you to go there. If hell was simply the absence of a being that wanted to destroy his creations than everyone would take the easy route and go to hell. Jesus said for you to have faith and everyone who does WILL find their peace. That is what I choose to believe.

Everytime I hear this story, which has been a few times now, I picture the exact same place in my mind.

My imagination is and always has been vivid, even as an adult. And Normally when I read a book, the places are different with each new read.

@@Darksomnium 5 days?! Holy wow. That's absurd! I couldn't justify doing it on our channel. To make it work, I had to render the spectrum with an alpha layer, and the resulting file was 10+ GB, just for that! And then I had to add it in Premiere and render the final file, which took another 5 hours. Do fans really care, do you think?
@@chillingtalesfordarknights I built a second computer which is out in my livingroom, i use it to render videos all day. and honestly i don't know, i havent really seen anyone comment on it. but i have noticed that my videos with the visualizers tend to have longer view time, probably because the visuals keep them interested too

I could be wrong on the visualizers but i just recently started testing them, at the end of the month ill probably check the stats and see if its worth continuing. and i just realized that my comment about keeping peoples attention makes the viewers sound like kids, I hope kids arent watching my videos because i have some messed up stuff on here xD the story "I am nightmare" that i did the other day is one i tell people not to watch unless they have the stomach for it, i even put the words "content warning" in the thumbnail so people would be sure to see it xD

A couple years ago I read the whole book of Revelation 4 times. After I read it the 1st time I had a dream (I was 18 at the time) about the world ending. I was a middle aged man around 35 and was apparently living in a big city with a family. I remember me walking towards my car when all of a sudden the earth below me starts to crack and before I knew it ripped open. I didn't die I was kind of flying or floating there observing as the earth was opening up and I could see the earth core swallowing up the cars and people falling in. I saw buildings collapsing and forests and trees burning and people scared. I wanted to do something but I was just floating there watching as the world began to go into utter chaos. I cant remember the rest of it but after the 3 and 4th time reading it I had another dream when I was 20 years old but this time it was a little different. I was apparently fighting off a beast (I might have been playing some games before bed that day XD)

Constructive criticism Love what you do and thoroughly enjoy the music and sound effects. However, there are points where the music drowns out your narration and the story loses some of its strength while straining to hear your words. Keep up the good work.
Did it? I didn't have a problem with the music, I was able to hear his voice clearly throughout the story, and I don't even have that great of hearing to begin with.
@@adrianroque6990, this one wasn't that bad. There are a few narrations I've had to rewind and try again at certain segments because the music overwhelmed. It's not a complaint. Just a constructive.
If you could put a cartoonistic visual to this story. This would be awesome to bring this story to life.
I think that the already very hard to visualize depiction of heaven is the best way to do it. According to the Bible having is incomprehensible to humans, so this plays off that
Visualizing stories is usually better when it comes to creepypastas. Horror films just feel so cheesy.
Awesome story. An Angel came to me in a dream one time. A huge baby suggesting a cherub that spoke in a loud deep base voice. He was looking upwards into a light...a bluish white light specifically. I never forgot that detail.
The huge babies were made up by the church if you’ve read the Bible you’d know that’s not what they look like
