@@idlepotato2221 Not true. In the very show this clip is from Darkseid managed to capture and brainwash Superman before turning him into an enforcer, having him enact his will on Earth. This destroyed a lot of people's faith in Superman and caused ramifications that would last for years, not to mention an everlasting blemish on Superman's reputation.
@@tehdipstick But did superman win in the end. I mean it's classic that the hero gets ass wooped before winning in the end. As for darkseid and him for somehow killing the quintessence in the comics(which i find stupid) I'm just honestly done with him and he is still gonna lose anyways. Other from watching the show I read comics and it's annoying that kryptonians are just for some reason god level power under yellow light like tf and if you know they have never really defeated darkseid bcuz well they can't just merely knock him on his ass for a few years which I consider losing before he drags his ass back. Except for that one justice league movie where darkseid actually won, yay him I guess. Superman always winning is the equivalent of my fustration of how he always embarrasses ultraman who is suppose to be as strong as him. . I know that frustrates you, but you have to understand that:
A ) Justice League Unlimted heavily nerfed the heroes to make stories interesting. That's why Superman seems weak.
B) The only accurate and canon version of Superman is whatever is in the current continuity of DC comics.
TV shows and movies aren't a good reference point because they are not canon. Only the comics are.
and finaly C ) This is Darkseid. No matter what version, Darkseid is a god, meaning he is leagues above beings like Superman. Doesn't matter what version we are talking about. One especialy scary thing about him is that all those manifestations of him are just avatars who can be destroyed. The *real* Darkseid can't even be touched by mortals.

If only you both knew that darkseid is way faster and stronger than Superman. To tell you the truth, that’s not the real darkseid. It’s just a clone and a glimpse of his power. His true body and power are in his own universe cuz if he would go through the universe where Superman, he would simply destroy it by just his presence.

That's a misconception. Darkseid is a concept that exists in every universe, for which he is considered a collective, however the same thing happens with Highfather. Plus the fact he doesn't like to use avatar in the first place.

Superman always wins yes but not against Darkseid. Nobody beats Darkseid.
Darkseid is way faster and stronger. Even his eye beam is different from superman. I think it's some form of gamma radiation so it hurts superman. Darkseid is stronger than superman in almost every version.
....It's really sad that you know nothing about Darkseid yet you know Superman and even then you don't know that the Man of Steel CAN BLEED.
I think his “lasers” are some special kind of beam that specifically targets “organic beings” weaknesses whatever they may be, so hitting that stone, or whatever that thing is (also a flat surface which might displace the beam?), doesn’t do as much damage as if it hit superman.
And yeah superman should be faster/better reflexes but they make the superman in this cartoon show able to be caught off guard if not paying attention and more vulnerable. Also he holds himself back subconsciously from years of trying not to accidentally kill someone with his strength or fly too fast and create a tornado effect etc. this dimensional portals (“boom-tubes”) instantly disappear at once.
Superman is “super-speedy” but in the show he really has not been used to having to fight someone on his own level or stronger and still tries to fight h2h (plus he’s injured in the beginning of the fight, and the omega beams can keep up with his speed if need be). There’s an animated movie (the clip is on youtube) where he does use his super-speed with his strength, and he does do damage...but it’s still not enough to actually seriously wound Darkseid.
Also Darkseid is just that strong 💪.
Maybe when superman chases Darkseid to the boom tube it's happening at light speed while everyone else is in realtime

First off, both of you pronounce duplicitous wrong. Two: Superman isn't even close to being in the same league as Darkseid in terms of literally everything. Darkseid is faster, stronger, smarter, and obviously MUCH more ruthless than Kal.

It’s not even a contest. Thanos is universal at his peak. Darkseid is multiversal at his weakest.
Darkseids speed is so much more than superman
The comic medium of Superman is far faster, stronger, and smarter to his movie or t.v show counterparts. That’s why you never see him moving faster than light or wielding the power to level whole planets just by walking around. He has to consistently keep his powers in check. And Darkseid is vastly stronger than that, easily a universe buster without his true form present in the physical world. But I mean, this is over 85 years of comics under dozens if not hundreds of writers. Of course you are going to see inconsistencies between writing, it’s just how the industry is. Though if you were to cherry pick Superman’s best feats across all of his comic runs, only celestial beings would be able to beat him. And that’s not even true sometimes.
Superman needed time in order to shatter his mental barriers and unlock his true power. When he did, he managed to beat Darkseid more than once. Even his true self. No joke, it actually happened.

Actually it makes sense for Superman to lose to Darkseid a lot. Darkseid is very powerful - see the Thanos vs. Darkseid death battle video.
However, it was not only Superman that was underpowered, but Darkseid as well.
