One step closer. I don't own a c3, but my dream/goal is to buy one someday. Presently, I'm semi restoring my 83 CJ7 Jeep I've owned since '88. So between now n then, I'll live vicariously through you n your c3. I admire how you meticulously go through every aspect in the restoration process-clean, rebuild, or buy new. Watching from Austin, TX 🤘🏽

Im at exactly the same stage on my 1969 C3 Coupe. Had to walk away from the car a couple of times - as the carpet was winning the battle of trying to get it in. 😅. Its a slow job. Keep the videos coming 😊

Yeah, sometimes it seems like it’s never going to fit…

Have seen installers use a heat gun to mold the carpet.

Just curious why you didn’t do the insulation you did everywhere else in the back?

I didn’t think it was needed. Especially since I had the insulation in the carpet.

It probably isn’t. As you said, not a lot of heat going on. I was just curious when I saw it, hadn’t realized until then that you didn’t do it back there

@@michaelriley3110 To be honest, another reason I didn’t do the back, was that it’s always had the top stuffed in there. Good thing I didn’t do it! I kind of lucked out with that one piece from the old set.

@@thedrivewayC3 I think that's probably why I hadn't noticed before too, so used to seeing the top in there LOL. You did luck out with the old set with insulation matching up
