YES, having a China Friend who trust you with MobileNumber/Scanning is the MOST IMPORTANT THING.
Yeah, the trickiest part is finding the right person to walk you through. Definitely possible to get an account even if you are from India, but a little more complicated when VPN comes into play.

If we cant get you a wechat account, of course we will refund the money. But only after we try the 2-3 different methods and it still fails. It would be unethical to ask for money and not complete the service. Tricky customers are from India since it is blocked there, but there are ways around it. I CANNOT promise wechat pay though, just a wechat account.

Make sure your phone settings are in English too. Also with many Chinese apps, when you change it to English there is still traces of Chinese in some features in the app, its just how it is as they are a monopoly here so probably wont change anytime soon.

i finished the creation and registration but when trying ot login it says you have to verify AGAIN and asks me to tell someone to send a number to me before it lets me login
the problem is for someone to message you on wechat you need to add them as a friend right? but before i can add someone i need to login which im not allowed to without this step
Is this your first time signing up? Did you go through the full process all the way past the one time password text verification process? If not, sign up with the same number you used and try again. If you tried to sign up on a seperate phone and phone number or different devices, more problems will pop up

Using Wechat on a pad or ipad is very risky. I hear alot of accounts getting blocked when trying that. I would be careful.

Then you may be one of the unlucky ones that has had your phone number and phone tagged (cant open an account) and need to try a new one.

@@user-ts9yd5kf5c No virtual numbers will not work as mentioned in the video. I have helped Indian customers get a wechat account with my service. There are ways around it if you have the patience. One being you need a VPN to use wechat in your country.

Did someone scan your code? Try with an iphone, or sometimes your phone gets randomly tagged and need to use another phone with the sim card inside and use a stable mobile network connection. Iphones tend to have the most success then you can switch back to your old phone later.

Restart your phone. Make sure your mobile network signal is stable. And only use real sim card numbers, not virtual or esim

They didn't have this rule until like 2019 or so. Beforehand no scanning of qr code was needed until they saw too many scams and started doing it then.

I don't make the rules man. Wechat makes it hard. By all means you can search on Facebook and reddit. I value the time and effort it takes to find suitable people to scan and make sure your account is up and running and that I also give access to my contact list for sourcing and ecommerce to get your business running . I'd say well worth it depending on your goal. Nobody is forcing you to use my service though, so many scams out there or try to find someone for free, you'll see how hard it can be.

China is probably the strictest in the world when it comes to social media. I get asked a ton about scanning the code, but people don't read the requirements so I have to be thorough so they understand. They think it's simple that anyone can scan. Wechat hides alot of information. Like only Vietnamese users can scan people in Vietnam to open an account. Nobody knows that but wechat hides it.
