When i try to register my account it allows me to check the box for "Terms and Conditions" but there isn't a Green "Next" button to continue.
I live in US. I do have a Chinese Bank account, but I don't remember the Chinese phone number that I used to open the account 4 years ago. I do have access to my account online but don't know if I can survive the oversea verification process.

When I try to scan a friends code it says ''Your account does not qualify for Assistant Registration. Ask your friend to find another friend to assist with verification.' Why?
To create account is hard on because the ask me to scan the code but I did not have any

When I told Nck mythss1 I had issues with my account this dude said don't worry I got you and as a matter of fact he did it in couple minutes

I do everything, unfortunately, I went with any method you can think of, but again it says that the QR code must be scanned by the person who has this program, even I tried the Facebook method, it didn't work, unfortunately, please help.

Do I have to add a bank account to just chat with someone. I am not sure I just don’t know how it works I would rather not have a card on there so someone does not hack it but again I don’t know much about it so if you have any advice please let me know. im outside China love to use wechat,,,,but i find it a bit difficult to use.

Nope, you won’t need your passport if you just want to chat. A phone would would suffice. Hope that helps.

It is strange 'cause when I hit the 'Me'option there is no 'service' option on my screen. There are only 4 options; Favorites, Moments, sticker gallery, and settings.

@stevenbyang Hi Steven, thank you. I am aware of qq mail, but I believe it does not have a built-in translator for Mandrian and English. Also, because of China's electronic wall, I might need a VPN.
I did, however, was able to install WeChat, but one needs an invite who has it. Unfortunately, the person who I want to contact says they can't use it because they work for the government.

Hello, terribly sorry to hear that. From what I know, the only way to get your account back is by gaining access to the phone number you registered with.
There is a reset password button on the sign in page, you can give that a try.

Go to your Asian restaurant,stores and marketplace and ask them to assist you. You could even try Chinatown market places. You might have better luck there. Good luck 👍 🤞
