You always hated your chest..” And she doesn’t have the money to pay, but she definitely supports me in my decision to get a job and save and hopefully I can get it soon!!

I’ll never understand how going through this process truly feels, but it is so amazing to see these people look in the mirror for the first time after surgery. It’s like they finally look on the outside like who they have always been on the inside. ❤️

Lucky I really want to talk to my parents about it but the thing is I've talked to my mom about it before and she didn't give a straight answer and my mom says I can't until I'm 18 but I really really want to try and talk them into it at least to start looking since I'm almost 15 and it's holding me back from a lot and really screwing me up emotionally do you have any tips on how to even bring up the conversation or how to try and convince parents?

This is really random but because you said the woman who takes off the bandages is so nice: I feel like her job must make her so happy! just imagine how joyful it must be to see tons of young people who can finally live as themselves and you're there to see their first reaction to that. I went from like a 5-8 year outlook for getting surgery to...one week away now. I'm kind of freaking out because I've never had surgery before, but holy shit. I'll try to maybe post a couple of videos of the process. I know those types of videos have been helpful to me fore the past decade so, I can't promise anything, but maybe I can help a bit haha
Thanks everyone who’s commented. I am currently 3 weeks post-op and I feel great. There are a couple of ”issues” I’ve had, but they are common and normal. Overall I have had a pretty easy recovery, so people, feel easy but cautious about surgery :)
