Romee I really hope you read this comment because it could answer why Mint has “ stomach problems”. Check under her tongue to see if she is “ tongue-tied”. This means that there is a little piece of skin attaching the tongue to the bottom floor of the mouth. It shouldn’t be there although it is quite common and is OFTEN overlooked by doctors and nurses. If she is tongue tied it makes it difficult to get a proper grip ( suction) on the nipple ( also of the bottle) which means she will swallow air which causes an upset stomach. This is also why some babies seem to be hungry all the time. Hope this helps you. Btw it’s so lovely to see you guys posting again, I’ve missed you. I promise that this will all be worth it when she gives you her first proper smile at about 5-6 weeks. Hang in there darlings! ❤️❤️❤️😘

Hi Romee, I'm a young mother of two little boys and i just wanted to let you know that things will get so much easier. Soon things will be a lot more predictable and normal, you will sleep again, baby won't have stomach issues anymore, breastfeeding will get so much easier or it might not work and baby will get a bottle (what I'm saying is, don't stress out as long as baby is fed and happy). Both my babies were super 'needy' and on my boobs constantly (I'm talking about every 15minutes for hours, not every two hours) and I know it feels like forever especially when you are tired but hang in there, it's a matter of maybe a few months! Can hmmm
Regarding the stomach issues, the first one was really colicky and with the second one we really made sure to burp him a lot after feeding. No matter how annoying it was when he fell asleep after a feed and we had to wake him up to burp him, it paid off. Sometimes it takes ages for the burp to come but it was worth it. When we didn't do it baby would get upset not long after and wake up really agitated and it would be really difficult to burp him at that point.
i love how much you truly love your baby and dont rely on nannies to raise her as many people with money do!youre great parents and its obvious without even being there
It´s amazing how real you are and so cute how you´re apologising for not having a very organized vlog...HONEY you are a new mother and you are doing graet. Love from Spain
You probably don’t feel well because you’re not getting enough sleep. Totally normal for a new mom. Plus this Covid gets us all freaked out. Any little thing I feel I wonder if I have Covid. So annoying! Miss your videos. Thanks for sharing an update 😘
Romee I know advice is now always welcome but My baby also had bad colics and I was at a point of being ready to try anything! Try Taking a teaspoon of fennel seeds and putting them into a cup of hot boiled water. Let it “brew” for a few hours and then give her a tablespoon of cooled fresh fennel water in a bottle a few times a day. If she doesn’t like it just put a little sugar in it to make it a bit sweet. This is a very old remedy but many times it does work! You just have to try for at least a few days or a week to give it time to work
It’s really not much work. Try having 6 like the real women who came before you did, along with doing all the work and suffering on women’s rights so you can feel no shame about obesity and sit on Twitter all day long bashing strangers for decade old allegations.
Love you, Romee! Thank you for showing us your days now :) My husband and I are trying for a baby and it's inspiring to see you guys become successful with your PCOS. I always look forward to your videos! Much love from Alabama.
I have heard that if breastfeeding mothers consume dairy, the milk proteins can transfer through breastmilk, causing digestive distress for some babies. You might want to cut it out for a while and see if it helps her.

It's so refreshing to see videos like this about day-to-day life as new parents. Love how Romee keeps it real in her videos. They're doing great! Also love the name Mint.
When a baby has stomach ache it really helps when you hold her the way that your hand is under her belly while she looks down.. you know what position I mean??😅 so when she lies on her belly that will help!! But especially when you hold her that way!!
Yes! 🙌🏻 I love that you are co-sleeping/bedsharing! It’s so natural and normal and when she gets a little older you’ll be able to sleep a lot better. She’ll sleep through the night a lot sooner than if you didn’t.
Romee looked so cute and grown up at the same time when she chuckled at 13:58, as though she was mentally thinking "these kids". 😂❤️ Thank you for posting this video, you're doing amazing and honestly glowing from the inside. Also, thank you for being so public about your PCOS - living with it can feel so lonely sometimes, so it's heartening to see someone with it thriving. LOADS of love for Mint (and Laurens)!
Congratulations!!! To help with making pumping easier you can put your pump attachment into the refrigerator after you pump and just clean it once at the end of the day. The cold keeps the pump and milk safe! Being tired is the hardest part of parenting. It definitely gets easier and it's so worth it!
What a beautiful video. You have transitioned into motherhood so effortlessly well. I love how realistic this vlog is. You both seem like utterly wonderful parents. So much love!
Can I just say yes yes yes to how real motherhood is. I am no one special, no model, no actress, no Instagram come up. Motherhood is rough, it’s messy, it’s frustrating, it feels like a black hole at times....am I doing enough? Am I doing it right? I appreciate how honest you are with us through the journey of motherhood. I lost my mom 2 year ago today and I am constantly questioning if I’m doing things right...at the end of of the day, as mother’s, all we can do is lift each other up and offer words of encouragement and words of experience to push us through the fire. Thank you for being honest and thank you for being you. ❤️
I can't put into words how much it means to see the side of motherhood that is not glamorous--in the last few years more content on this subject and vlogs have been shared but I wish the hardships mothers face were discussed just as much as the joys. I often feel like we don't educated girls enough about the labor side of motherhood, and how to share that labor with their partner nearly as much as we teach from a young age this goal of motherhood.
Remember after every feeding it’s soo important to burp her just pat her straight on your shoulder until she burps because that is one main reason why babies can have tummy aches and cramps
I think she knows that but many babies still have gas anyway even if you burp them. I mean look how much research she did into everything she bought for Mint, so I think she knows that too.
Yeah it’s just a suggestion in case she didn’t, not many first time moms know this I have pregnant mommy friends who just knew it but didn’t know the importance of it Xd because research is one thing but when real life with babies it’s a whole different thing
My baby has bad gas build up and reflex and i try to burp him but he hardly burps sometimes. So you can tell someone to burp your baby but sometimes babies are difficult to burp. Of course, its important to still try to burp but you can't expect a baby to automatically burp when you try. Part of my baby's issue is a possible lip tie which he will probably get lasered.
Another thing I tend to do is as soon as the baby wakes up, put the baby on their tummy at the nappy change table. Even if it's just for 10 seconds, they will often burp and release gas. Then change the nappy and then feed. That way you can be sure you get any air out before feeding on top of that.
Hi Romee, thanks for sharing a realistic first time mum update. It really reminded me of my baby. She also got reflux and it got naturally better at 2-3 months (I didn’t do anything for it other than trying to keep her upright after feeds). The sleeping also gets better although you will still have some bad nights. My baby is now 5 months and can go from sleeping 7 hour stretches to 3 the next night. You are doing great!
We had the same issue with her reflex and tummy issues. So I did some research and cut out dairy, gluten, soy, and egg and it went away thank God. It was a lifesaver because we were like you guys.
Not sure if you do read the comments, but I just had a baby girl myself, and we realized her stomach issues were due to certain foods I was eating like dairy for exemple. It didn’t even took 2 weeks after I cut everything that she started to feel way better!!! Hope she feels better soon and that you are able to get more sleep!! 😘
What an amazing job you are doing! Suggestion: If the only food Mint is getting is your breast milk, it may help to consider what you are eating. What you eat, she eats. For example, onions and garlic may be OK on your tummy. But it may upset Mints. Watch what you eat and see how she responds. Might help. ❤❤
I know of a French singer who has a 7-year old and she never shows his face in pictures. I respect that so much. In a world where we feel out of control, at least you can control this since everything is so public these days. But yes, it just boils down to what you are comfortable with :)
I just love her !!! She is so honest !!! and i can't believe that young girl that we watched travelled a lot and on famous runways now is this beautiful mama!!! You can tell how tired she is you almost want to junmp in and help her so she can sleep ❤

Hands down the BEST notification I've seen!!!!! Romee, you are and incredible woman and angel, and are a super mother. I look up to you so much, and hope that you and your family stay healthy!!!!
For a bay to sleep, make sure the three rules are there, fed, clean and warm . So clean diaper, well fed and burped, and dressed in good enough layers to feel warm, but not hot. You can also use also a bedsheet that has your smell to let her sleep on.
Romeee, if you’re breastfeeding DO NOT DRINK COFFEE!!! I drank lots of tea with my first and he didn’t sleep until I finally realised and in a few days it was fixed!!!!
You and Laurens look like amazing parents. Mint is so lucky. Thank you for showing the hard side of motherhood as well and hopefully you and Laurens can get some solid sleep soon!
don't show her face for at least 5 years. She is your baby and protecting your baby's identity is one of the few things you can control. Respect to you for choosing not to show her face
I mean, the opposite would be much more logical..show your baby maximum for the first years, because it will change drastically anyway. Later on no one will recognize your child if you stop showing the face as soon as it develop proper features
I love the fact that you’re so TRUE while showing us what being a parent looks like and that you’re sharing with us your struggles with lack of sleep and breast feeding. Also love to see how much you are very much Romee. Sometimes it’s scary the thought of acing a baby how that can change things. But for someone who doesn’t have a baby I still relate to you SO much and love seeing this content!! You’re looking so stunning and glowy🤍 sending love!! Thank you for posting this video, you're doing amazing and honestly glowing from the inside. Also, thank you for being so public about your PCOS - living with it can feel so lonely sometimes, so it's heartening to see someone with it thriving. LOADS of love for Mint (and Laurens)!
You're so real and authentic! I hope you and the little one are doing well🤍🤍
Congratulations!!! To help with making pumping easier you can put your pump attachment into the refrigerator after you pump and just clean it once at the end of the day. The cold keeps the pump and milk safe! Being tired is the hardest part of parenting. It definitely gets easier and it's so worth it!
Love you so much, hope you and your baby are doing well
What a beautiful video. You have transitioned into motherhood so effortlessly well. I love how realistic this vlog is. You both seem like utterly wonderful parents. So much love!
Finally, soo looking forward... I havent seen it yet but we are happyyy to see you and your little angel.
Romeeee we missed you,, hope you and mint are well 🤍🤍
I can't put into words how much it means to see the side of motherhood that is not glamorous--in the last few years more content on this subject and vlogs have been shared but I wish the hardships mothers face were discussed just as much as the joys.
Like we adults don’t need to burp after every meal lol but with babies it’s a must 🧒🤓
My baby has bad gas build up and reflex and i try to burp him but he hardly burps sometimes.
So glad you're back. May you and your family have a happy and healthy year ahead of you. We all love baby mint!! x
We had the same issue with her reflex and tummy issues. So I did some research and cut out dairy, gluten, soy, and egg and it went away thank God. It was a lifesaver because we were like you guys.
Are we not going to talk about how long is her hair? So beautiful ❤️🥰
Exactly what I was thinking
Romee is so prettyyyyy even when she did not have enough sleep, she was still prettyyyyy 😭😍😍😍
I just love her !!! She is so honest !!! and i can't believe that young girl that we watched travelled a lot and on famous runways now is this beautiful mama!!! You can tell how tired she is you almost want to junmp in and help her so she can sleep ❤
Girl I feel ya on the sleepless streaks and the walking around in sweats like a zombie. Hang in there it will get better! Also there are movements for baby colic check out baby suite by Pau (it's in Spanish, but you can see the movements there)
Congratulations on the birth of your daughter! You are doing great as a Mom! Hang in there!
omgggggggg i missed u soooo much ur a mother now what !!!! sooo pretty xxxx
It's been awhile, so happy to see you updated again, you're an amazing mom. Blessed you guys. Sweet family ❤
"Cooking with Laurence takes a little longer than thirty min"🤣
Saying that it’s her baby and then telling her what to do with HER BABY in one comment seems ironic 😂
@@marlene5869 lmao
I mean, the opposite would be much more logical..show your baby maximum for the first years, because it will change drastically anyway. Later on no one will recognize your child if you stop showing the face as soon as it develop proper features
I love the fact that you’re so TRUE while showing us what being a parent looks like and that you’re sharing with us your struggles with lack of sleep and breast feeding. Moreover, being honest with how a woman body looks after giving birth and all the work we have to do in order to get back in shape but mindfully, you rock ! You’re amazingly beautiful inside and outside and look stunning omg 😍
Wish you all the best and hope you’ll be able to get better night hours sleep with Lawrence sooner than later! Congrats you’re wonderful parents, I love your personality and your vlogs 🥰
Never clicked so fast 💨 Thank you for taking time for us❤️
I have missed your blogs so much. I love you and Laurens. You are so kind and loving. I’m happy for your beautiful family. Thank you for taking the time to share. Wishing you all the best.

Thank you for the update, do NOT feel any pressure to post! You are an amazing momma! I am so glad to hear that Mint is doing well except for the upset tummy😥 best wishes to you and your family!🥰🥰🥰
I've been waiting for your new video😭❤️✨ in such a rough time, your video helps me to calm🥺
ur such a huge inspiration and we can all tell ur a great mother 🥺
Love how you spoke about breastfeeding. I am in school to become a lactation consultant so I loved hearing about your experience w it
Romee, this was my favorite video of you ever!! I am not a mom but seeing this vlog made me so happy. I love how you are with the baby and your views on parenthood-it’s so open and real. Also love how much you are open with breastfeeding and working out and your body. I think a lot of people need that openness and acceptance of the process and how things are changing so you might change your mind about some things but also normalizing things. So proud of you!! Also love to see how much you are very much Romee. Sometimes it’s scary the thought of acing a baby how that can change things. But for someone who doesn’t have a baby I still relate to you SO much and love seeing this content!! You’re looking so stunning and glowy🤍 sending love!! And hopefully some sleepy vibes to baby (so you can get more sleep too)🥰
Aww that part when Romee was in the car (17:10) she looked so much younger for some reason!
The first few months are harder than you can even imagine 💖 thank you for keeping it real Romee, we love you for it mama!!
Omg yaaaay, I hope you guys are doing good and having a nice day so far, I'm so happy for you, I hope the baby is doing great as well, ly have nice day
This is really refreshing and genuine !! It’s so healthy to have a balance between the glamourous and exciting life with real life experiences! It’s really nice that you are such a genuine role model and you are doing great 💚! Love from Canada ☺️💚
