Thanks for coming to the World of Commodore! This was my first time also and enjoyed it. My Commodore PET Companion board was ready about a month ago but wanted to release it there. Thank you, you and Jamie, for supporting the charity, attending my presentation, and shout-out. Sorry didn't spend much time with you both as I had to get the sales in :)
Thanks! You are the first to point yourself out in my video. Agree. The AmiCube will be a must purchase. Thanks for watching. Be sure to check out my follow up livestream: ua-cam.com/users/livexwoGYYymL5g
Glad you had a fun time at the World of Commodore. Rudy's PET Companion board is awesome. I had a lot of fun working with him on it over the past few months. Dave Bradley does indeed have an amazing Commodore PET computer collection. Thank you for the detailed video about WoC 2023.
@@retroCombs The Commodore PET computer is in my top 3 favorite machines. C64, Apple II and the Commodore PET. Any project I can help with for those computers is a win for me LOL. As for Rudy's presentation, I watched it before it went public on his channel 🙂
We took my car this time and luckily no issues except with Android Auto. I had to reset the head unit in order for sound to work. It was odd but we had it working before we got Indy.
Thanks for doing this video about World of Commodore - I'm based down in Austin, TX, so it's not practical to just nip over the border to Toronto to see what it's all about (not that an 8-hour drive constitutes 'just nipping out'), and I was curious about what was going to be happening. Sounds like you had a good time, and I'll be adding it to my bucket list of events to attend.
Thanks for the comment and glad you thought I captured the spirit and content of the show. Austin would be a haul for sure but I think it's worth placing on the bucket list.
Was a blast and was sad I got stuck in traffic on QEW and missed Haynies presentation and didnt t see you the few hours I was there unfortunately but happy to chat with Dr.Chris & Acill👍

You did a great job Rudy! Your presentation was awesome. I loved your MTV shirt. So retro!
Happy to support and great to meet you. How many did you end up selling?
MTV shirt with jacket was "stylin'!"
@retroCombs more than half sold. Glad they sold so well
3:13 Hey!, that's me! Glad you made it and enjoyed the show. I have a MiniMig and will be getting an AmiCube when Ranko gets them going.

Thanks for taking a look and helping him with the project. Check out his presentation when you get a chance and if you've not already.

@geekwithsocialskills I thought you may have had a preview. My top three are VIC, C128, and Plus/4. With the PET a very close fourth.
Thanks for your great recap of the show! Glad you guys had a good trip with no tire issues 😊

Is there a link to the Commodore 8 bit magazine index?
@michaelcook3308 Here ya go: cbm-magazine-index-905b3a1c9127.herokuapp.com/
There's a short link but I couldn't find it.
It's nice to see that some people still use floppies. Was there anything interesting for the Plus/4?
I was disappointed in the TED series representation. Nothing off note. 😩 Maybe they need a DigiMuz display next year. 🎹🎶
Glad you guys enjoyed yourselves!
Thanks. It was definitely a haul and I wish we'd had a fee more days between travel days. It sure was hard to go back to the paying gig on Tuesday.
@@retroCombsthanks for driving!!!
@JamiesHackShack You betcha.

Sorry I missed ya. Surprised since the venue was so small. Maybe next time!
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Ohh settling in for this one! My vote is yes but I'm waiting to see what you say! 😂
I think you know the answer. Shaved from 45 minutes to 23. Yeow!
See that you had a nice conference 😊
Struggling with voice right now but if things get better tomorrow I hope to share more during a livestream on Sunday.
Clamdiggers is in Monroe, Mi thirty minutes south of Detroit. We don’t round off geographical locations here :)
Apologies for the Michigan faux pas. 😂
