I bought 2 pairs of c n j Boston under their semi bespoke program. I upgraded the leather to full grained calf leather structured shoes n also with city rubber sole 1 pair black n 1 pair . The main application is for traveling pull of shoes for air port security checks n also wear with formal suits for business meetings. It is very versatile with the above applications
Nice loafer collection, my friend! 👍 I have many pairs of loafers, one of my favorite styles of shoe. They generally fit me pretty well off the rack, but if all my pairs, nothing has fit as a snuggly, nor as comfortably as my Alden tassels. I have had a hard time with unstructured, though.
Just as a matter of interest, how many pairs of shoes do you own and how long have you been collecting...if you consider yourself a collector that is...
I am collecting. I have about 165 including my pipeline and boots. I’m looking to have 3 shoes and 3 boots from the top 40 brands of each. It takes time and I am due for a purge based on fit and changes in strategy. Eg i started with longwings and PTBs as my strategy and now I’ve changed to split toes and Adelaide’s (plus one.. usually wholecut or wingtip)
@@wishoeguy That is amazing I only have 34 pairs and looking at selling some of those because my feet have got slightly larger because I've put on weight due to increased training. This is no bad thing really because I am ready to try some new brands. I'm losing some Church's, Trickers and Cheaneys but I have 2 pairs of TLB Mallorca Artistas coming a pair of 110's in navy with the JR sole and a pair of 173's in the stock colours but with JR soles. Also in my pipeline (very tiny pipeline) I have a pair of Yeossal Shrewsbury for ordering in January. I think your dedication to your passion is very admirable and I am grateful to you for sharing you wealth of knowledge with us comparative newbies!! Thanks again for getting back to me...oh yeah...I'm finding my way around Indochina suits aswell now and also Spier and Mackay too...got to make some room in the closets though...

Yeah it's so hard to find a ready-to-wear loafer for my foot shape (wide forefoot and medium to narrow heel)

@@wishoeguy meermin customer service aren’t very helpful in terms of suggesting sizes, my first pair was 1 size bigger thanks to their suggestion.
If you have trouble I’d call the NYC store. They’re probably easier to deal with. Good luck.
