I love the way you enjoy the music you have created with a sip of coffee while it still keeps playing! Outstanding loop composition by the way, congratulations and thanks for sharing your music with us.
Dear Mikhail, this is just so amazing. Absolutely fantastic. Can't get enough of this. Music that leads you to your soul. Greetings and best wishes from India.
Amazing! Simply amazing! You know what would be cool? If you did a separate overdubbed “directors cut” commentary version of this telling us what you were doing as it happens and what you were thinking at the time. That’s something I would pay for. When you create this art, is it all pre-though out in terms of sounds, notes, chord progressions, delay times, etc? It seems there is no way the delays can be random. It has to be almost mathematical so it doesn’t become a washed out mess. Again, AMAZING!
Amazing...
+Tommy Kavounidis Thanks! I don't think I use some tricky ways to get my sound, at least I always try to describe my approach to it. If not than let me know) who knows, maybe later I'll do some. Music is always at the first place for me, not the tutorial component of these videos. Thought I always glad to share)
Glad you're back! This makes me want to get back to it myself, great composition Mike, it should be on an album! This is YOUR music, your style. Love it !
Hi Mikhail, Thanks for sharing your soundscapes. 3 subs from me. I decided to delete my earlier question but thanks for responding. Your description is also very helpful.
Well done luv it what is your set up? Would love to know I am starting to build my own pedal set up and I would love to get sound similar to yours beautiful
You can find all the information about this video in the description. The gear and soft I used: Godin Multiac ACS Nylon SA Godin Solidac with Roland GK-2 midi pick-up Fishman Aura Spectrum DI Roland US-20 Roland VG-99 Boss EV-5 foot controller for VG Roland GR-33 Strymon Timeline Strymon BigSky Boomerang looper III
I wanted to ask a question. I have a godin acs sa and a roland gr 55. I can only hear the sound of the sinth, but not the guitar. Do I have to set something in the settings? Thank you
1) change 9V battery 2) try to plug your acs into gr55 also with additional jack-jack cable and see what happens... i'm not gr55 owner, but their logic is the same
I cannot stop listening this song. I might be missing something, but how did you do this synth sound as you started playing electric guitar? Deep low end synth.
No, it's just ACS. I found it difficult to play slim with nylon strings, because I use some techniques in left hand where distance between strings should be bigger. But generally Slim is also a great instrument.
Mikhail Medvedev One more question: the fishman is connected to the vg99 but not the gr33? The cabling is confusing: the godins’ multiac 13-pin connector goes to the gr33 and the other cable goes to the vg99?
I go through the ocean of tears, and the space of lights! Finally, meet the love, Thank you!
+Yang Emcore it was emotional) thanks!
This is pure art. Poetry. My favourite ambient guitarist
Thanks Even!
Beautiful! it’s like a beautiful movie a sound of thinking someone special that will never coming back ❤❤

Again, AMAZING!

Very nice piece Mikhail! Excellent transitions between the initial loops, the nylon string and the Solidac sounds.
+Chords Of Orion Thanks Bill! I think now that the third solo part could be unsynchronized loop too. I love unsynchronized loops)

The classical guitar in an ambient soundscape sounds beautiful, fits in very well.
Thanks!
I think that ambient sound should be versatile and coherent the same time)
Lovely! Thank you so much! Very beautiful and inspirational.
Thanks!
Outstanding
Absolutely beautiful !
You should make a rig rundown video. This is very inspiring, love all the sounds you're able to get out of your guitars!
+Tommy Kavounidis Thanks! I don't think I use some tricky ways to get my sound, at least I always try to describe my approach to it. If not than let me know) who knows, maybe later I'll do some. Well, I wasn’t asking for a tutorial. I was just asking what kind of pedals you use that’s all would love to hear about it everybody else would too.
A very thoughtful piece and superb sound quality
+Don Gorham thanks!

Strymon Timeline

Boomerang looper III
awesome track!!!
It was cool, bro!
Nice! Felicitaciones.
Awesome!
Thanks!
Superb!
Kinda curious about your signal chain, how did you route the signal? Particularly for the gr and vg?
as I remember it was rather straight and simple as in the video description.. as for gr and vg... just plugged vg into gr
So YOU are the other one that bought a VG-99. lol. It is amazing how much that thing does.
Yeah, I still find it interesting and useful!
Super!
Thanks!
bravo bell effetto
Thanks Audrey!

I cannot stop listening this song. I might be missing something, but how did you do this synth sound as you started playing electric guitar? Deep low end synth.
as I remember this is GR-33's preset - it has Grand Piano tone with fading out (slow) attack, low strings transposed to -12
I mean "fading in")
Suberbe !!

+Mikhail Medvedev
Mikhail Medvedev
+Nick Percev
Is that a vg8 and vg9 ?!
These are vg-99 and gr-33. There is a gear list in the video description.
super!!
Is your Godin the “Slim”?
No, it's just ACS. I found it difficult to play slim with nylon strings, because I use some techniques in left hand where distance between strings should be bigger. But generally Slim is also a great instrument.
Can you record through your audio interface without the omega or is that your preference?
Lexicon Omega is ma interface. VG-99 can work as an external audio interface, but the guitar sound goes after it to other devices
Is the lexicon omega hooked up to your laptop and running with a daw?
right
Mikhail Medvedev One more question: the fishman is connected to the vg99 but not the gr33? The cabling is confusing: the godins’ multiac 13-pin connector goes to the gr33 and the other cable goes to the vg99?
✌🏻
Niice!!!
Mikhail Medvedev Hell yeah! :-)

Who the FUCK would downvote something like this? Idiots! You got my UPvote as well as a new subscriber.
Genius! Sub I want more.
I kept waiting for him to take a sip of coffee, then take a nap on the sofa while the synth. continued playing itself. 😅🤣😂
So many cables 😵💫😵💫😵💫
Well.. Yes.. Pedals need cables.
