I love parallel mixing an envelope filter and chorus. The two effects change the frequency response of your guitar signal and maybe not for the best in series operation, but in parallel, rather in a Wetter Box, it’s heavenly.
hello sir, i am a true lover of your show. and always can't wait to watch your new program on youtube. I am a user of pedal darkside work station, and I am happy with mixing flange with rotary and phase with u-vibe. thank you keeley. but with this pedal we can mix any pedal. this is amazing, it's very special. and I will not stop dreaming of having this pedal one day 🙏🙏
Robert Keeley Daniel TheGigRig It’s soo cool to find out some of your favorite pedal makers are nice guys too. It’s one of the things that makes this community so cool. Also makes you want support them all the more. Love you guys!
Utility pedals are truly underrated. This one is case in point. Love the concept of blending effects. Powerful tool especially for overdrive nuts, opens up a quite a few possibilities.
But.. How about a GigRig with incorporated WETTER BOX, switchable and programmable itself in the matrix? +Daniel TheGigRig.... I might ask for rights for this :P
This feels like it is something that could have been done before but it offers so many sound options that it was too scary to actually make. It makes any 3 normal pedals into an almost infinitely complex unit. Dan has unlocked Pandora's effects box. Sounds amazing.
Brilliant! I went from, “that could be fun” to “wow, this could solve so many issues in so many rigs!” Well done sir, well done. And the cameos...mind blown!
Godfrey Daniel! That thing is - a key to another dimension!! Interesting - neither OD's are usable (IMO) but suddenly at 2:20, sounds fabulous. Daniel is a tone wizard!
Splitter/mixer units are wonderful things. I've been using them for over 30 years. I thank Craig Anderton for introducing me and many others to parallel processing. More and more devices are permitting, and encouraging, musicians to think about their sound in a manner that used to be reserved for post-production engineers. In tandem with an expression pedal, the Wetter makes possible panning/morphing from sum to difference outputs of those modulation pedals that provide such outputs, as well as fading in (or out) wet signal from those pedals that provide separate wet and dry outputs. As a suggestion, consider using it for comparing pedals in future TPS episodes. One of you plays, while the other one pans between pedals, without interrupting the playing. That could make for more useful comparison. Notsomuch to pronounce THIS better than THAT, but to be able to draw attention to how THIS is *different* or does differently than THAT. For instance, some modulation pedals will allow for different LFO waveforms. So much easier and clearer to morph from triangle to sine, or triangle to ramp, than to stop, re-adjust and start again. Of course, you'd need two of the same pedal to do that, but I'm sure that can be arranged. Smart functional little unit, and fun seeing all the pedal-maker "cameos". Nicely done.
Between this, and Mick's "No Show - Just a Dream" video ... pretty satisfying for that "MUST HAVE A TPS EPISODE!!!" fix when there is no TPS episode. :)
Wow, Dan. Seriously, wow. That was indeed some epic sounding stuff. And, no surprise, you seem to have thought of everything. What a great tool. Well done!
This is awesome! I’ve been messing with overdrive pedals for an age, trying to get the tone and sustain I want, and always I’m thinking ‘If I could get the smooth sustain from this pedal, and the gritty bite from this pedal, I’d have just what I want.’ If I’m right, this pedal is going to allow me to do exactly that - set one OD for sustain, the other for bite, and have the two in parallel...? This could revolutionise the way I create tone using pedals!
it’s been 5 yrs, do you still have them? If so can you give some details on how you have it hooked up, the sound, Etc. I’m thinking of getting one. Thanks.
Dan ... this seems ti be such a simple idea on the surface ... then I think about the aplications ,,,, I hit on a few and then the univese opens up! .... The clarity of tone through the FX loop ....vibrato into chorus ... You are a legend & this is an incredible new studio tool at the right price point for me - I thank you - Chris
Bravo! What an instant classic. Simply genius. A revelation. Collective pedal unconscious understood, and attended perfectly. Much more than a just nice contribution to the pedal world. One pedal to "rule" them all. You get the point. Im serious.
As i would expect from Dan, this is a RIDICULOUSLY well thought out tool (much like the G2!) I wish every effect manufacturer had the forethought to include all the features you could think of in all of their tools and pedals. WELL DONE, my friend... well done!!
First of All. Amaziiiinnng! Second: Please do a TPS episode on this. Third: show the use with acoustic guitars, using gain and ambience pedals in paralel with the original acoustic signal. It work wonders! Thank you for this. I hope I can aford it here in Brazil.
Dan, you keep pushing the envelope on how we engage with our effects. And I love having all the different guys asking the questions! I was trying to guess who was going to show up after Brian. Cheers and congratulations!
I became interested with _the parallel process_ when I first got hold of a Strymon Sunset. The Wetter Box answers every possibility I could ever hope from it. Nice one :-)
I was just talking to a buddy the other day about how I had Xotic's X-blender which was the only pedal like this till now. You have taken that idea in a whole other direction however and it looks amazingly well thought out!
Too cool fo school. Presumably you could, with a short cable completing one loop or the other, mix your clean signal along with any drive in the other loop. I do love the Pork Loin/Saucy Box thing of drive and clean together
Finally. A properly German named effect pedal. Though I still have to figure out the "weather" connection to what it really does. Well, as long as it does not make it rain...
Awesome mate! Trust an Aussie to see a problem, invent a solution and make it better than anyone else ever would have thought of. I love it man! Well done indeed Daniel-son. Kudos' for the brilliant endorsements/questions from the most influential folks in our pedal world. Now I need to save some cash and get one. Oh, LOVE that you thought about expression pedal control too.
it’s been 5yrs, do you still have them? If so can you give some details on how you have it hooked up, the sound, Etc. I’m thinking of getting one. Thanks.
a) it sounds like a winner of an enabler pedal and b) this is a wonder of cameo appearances of the leaders of the pedal community. Amazing on both counts.
it’s been 4yrs, do you still have them? If so can you give some details on how you have it hooked up, the sound, Etc. I’m thinking of getting one. Thanks.
My favourite feature of the mooer ocean machine is the option to parallel the delays! Might need to get one of these for my drive section though, recently made a fuzz that's great for lead, as it's very treble heavy, as well as a fuzzy drive pedal designed for bass, to fatten up the low end! Been after a way to blend the two nicely!
This is epic! With this pedal we can create so much different and new tones! I always like a overdrive with a little bit fuzz on top. Now it is possible! Or a chorus with a little bit tremelo.
"And when I say anything, I mean anything." When you said this in that mischievous tone of yours, I knew it was going to be the Miku! And by the way, this box is genius.
Daniel, you are an absolute genius. You've really thought of everything with this pedal. Mind blown! I hope this bad boy gets featured in an upcoming TPS vid!
The tones in this video should be 100% illegal. My word!!!
Tom Quayle too right Tom! Just fantastic tones! Huge fan of that pedal show!
P.S. also huge fan of your playing Tom!
This is hands-down the best product demo, ever.
Cheers mate 🙏
I love parallel mixing an envelope filter and chorus. The two effects change the frequency response of your guitar signal and maybe not for the best in series operation, but in parallel, rather in a Wetter Box, it’s heavenly.
Ah mate, thank you so much. Honoured to have you in the vid :)
hello sir, i am a true lover of your show. and always can't wait to watch your new program on youtube. I am a user of pedal darkside work station, and I am happy with mixing flange with rotary and phase with u-vibe.
thank you keeley. but with this pedal we can mix any pedal. this is amazing, it's very special. and I will not stop dreaming of having this pedal one day

rob rock Thanks sir! It is fun blending those two effects in the Darkside! In fact we parallel blend them just like the Wetter Box does!
Robert Keeley Daniel TheGigRig It’s soo cool to find out some of your favorite pedal makers are nice guys too. It’s one of the things that makes this community so cool. Also makes you want support them all the more. Love you guys!
Ooh ooh ooh, Dan, a full TPS dedicated to the Wetterbox !!!!
You know you're big time when Yoshi does a cameo
Stuart Tate You know you’re big time when you designed and built the Gigrig G2 😁
Ikr it's pretty weird when roland boss casually appear
Mick is gonna love reading the instructions for this!
This is most necessary for Whammy pedal when u want to blend octaves with the dry signal. Cool pedal

Congratulations Daniel this is huge
This feels like it is something that could have been done before but it offers so many sound options that it was too scary to actually make. It makes any 3 normal pedals into an almost infinitely complex unit. Dan has unlocked Pandora's effects box. Sounds amazing.
Dan excels at creating product we didn't know we needed. Congratulations.
Mate - you are a genius!!! Much love.
ah mate, you're too kind, thanks so much
That fuzz blended with overdrive sounds monstrous.
Gilmour does that with Muffs and Tube Drivers. Now we know why.
@@mattgilbert7347 In parallel though?
As long as you remember NOT to talk over the trails Dan. LOL!
Poor Dan! I'm gonna talk over ALL the trails I can find from now on for moral support! Even chemtrails!
Wow. You all have knocked it out of the park with this one.
Dan! So rad. Love the cameo comments/questions!
Great time to be alive in pedal land , so many flavors , and boxes to choose from , gives me goose flesh hairs standing up on me arms🎸🎶👍🙏👋✌️
Gigrig answers our prayers again👍🙏
I've been looking for something like this for a while. There are some products that come close, but this checks all the boxes.
All this and a Miku cameo to boot. Well played

This is a game changer. Amazing tones. Loved the cameos and glad I was listening with headphones for Josh’s question about stereo operation.
Congratulations Dan, a triumph, ingenious !!
This is awesome! I’ve been messing with overdrive pedals for an age, trying to get the tone and sustain I want, and always I’m thinking ‘If I could get the smooth sustain from

I'm going to buy two wetter boxes, then run them in parallel with each other.
Thats how black holes are formed
That’s illegal in all 54 1/2 states
blend the blender
it’s been 5 yrs, do you still have them? If so can you give some details on how you have it hooked up, the sound, Etc. I’m thinking of getting one. Thanks.
Another well designed and thought out Gigrig product. Love the designer cameos.
I've been wanting to blend my Plexi pedal and my metal pedal with an ABY. I think you've shown me the perfect solution!
Would love to hear that!
Woah congratulations Dan! This is an astonishing idea!
Dan ... this seems ti be such a simple idea on the surface ... then I think about the aplications ,,,, I hit on a few and then the univese opens up! .... Thanks so much Chris :)
I was looking for just such a thing 25 years ago to avoid dragging out a mixing board.
Amazing tool Dan!
Thank you :)
Bravo! What an instant classic. Simply genius. A revelation. Collective pedal unconscious understood, and attended perfectly. Much more than a just nice contribution to the pedal world. One pedal to "rule" them all. You get the point. Im serious.
Thanks Martin :)
Chapeau Mr. Steinhardt!!! You never stop surprising us all. Cheers from a big fan in Buenos Aires!
This is a brilliant idea. Daniel you've really opened the door for so many players. Congrats.
You are an absolute genius, Dan! Loving my newly delivered power supply of yours! My D&M-Drive is awesome, too! Cheers!
Great invention Dan! Hats off to you and your team! Congratulations!
Ps: great collaboration idea!
Next - a tube screamer without ambiance called...
The Midrange Dry Hump.
Is it wetter or is it a wizard's sleeve? Or is it cold today? ;-P
Love Daniel , he is a outstanding guitar player , a gentleman of the highest kind and you always learn something from him . Rock on Danny Boy .
Drool-inducing! What a great idea! Congrats Dan!
That is very cool indeed Dan!! GREAT!!!
Ah, cheers mate :)
Awesome!..an expression pedal for the palm..you're onto something now!
As i would expect from Dan, this is a RIDICULOUSLY well thought out tool (much like the G2!) I wish every effect manufacturer had the forethought to include all the features you could think of in all of their tools and pedals. WELL DONE, my friend... well done!!
Thanks Gary :)
This is a killer idea. Nicely done, Dan.
Cheers mate :)
How can anyone not love Daniel? Absolutely stand up gent. I'd love to meet him one day. And Mick too of course. Just to say thanks in person.
First of All. Amaziiiinnng!
Second: Please do a TPS episode on this.
Third: show the use with acoustic guitars, using gain and ambience pedals in paralel with the original acoustic signal. It work wonders!
Thank you for this. I hope I can aford it here in Brazil.
Haha, the cameo questions are fantastic! Well done on the Wetter Box and the video!
Daniel you are So Passionate about Tone, it is Ridiculous . . . and so very Appreciated. Quite The Mad Scientist. I will be getting one Sir.
Congrats on the great product Daniel. I think it's going to be a winner.
Dan, you keep pushing the envelope on how we engage with our effects. And I love having all the different guys asking the questions! I was trying to guess who was going to show up after Brian. Cheers and congratulations!
Thanks Stephen :)
Just when you think you have found your best sound , switch on the gigrig wetterbox and take it further . Mmmmm cherry on the cake . Good call dan .🤘
What a great device! Loved it Dan! Congrats!
its a dream pedal...love and peace from Iran , i dreaming about having this peace of art.. and ur absolute silence world with ur magical power supply
That's a bold outfit from Mr Mogensen! Great bit of kit, btw!
Congratulations Dan, I think this utility pedal might be essential and indispensable. Truly inspired.
I became interested with _the parallel process_ when I first got hold of a Strymon Sunset. The Wetter Box answers every possibility I could ever hope from it. Nice one :-)
I'd love to see more of this unit in practice on an existing board. Really dig your guitar style too Daniel! Great invention!!!
So I didn't get the innuendo at first. "My box is wet.""Well I have a Wetter Box!" Genius.
You are a genius! Great tones and playing too!
Thanks matey :)
Dan, this is epic!!! Guitar playing will be moving onto another level at the sound-getting! For pedals, for playing...ace!!!
Outstanding bit of kit, there are some incredible guitar sounds in this vid and it was very clearly explained. Awesome cameos too
Dan Dan Dan. That’s all i’ve got so far. Those mini vent sounds left me speechless
I was just talking to a buddy the other day about how I had Xotic's X-blender which was the only pedal like this till now. You have taken that idea in a whole other direction however and it looks amazingly well thought out!
Cheers matey :)
So many honks needed for this video.
hahahah
Very, very cool! The delay option sounded amazing.
I can finally do wet/dry but only carry one amp!
Amazing playing Dan! It’s so rad to watch you get lost in the sound
Cheers mate :)
Dan, you’re so cool. We all know it, you know it, keep doing your thing.
Hahah, I’m a gear geek with ADD and insomnia but I’ll take it, thank you :))
Hmm I would imagine you could run two separate boards with this and mix both to your hearts delight with whatever on or off Very cool Dano
Fantastic sounds and brilliant innovation. I love the video... Also hugely innovative. This was well worth the wait.
Wow. Now I have to figure out how to make room for 3 of these on my board.
it’s been 5yrs, do you still have them? If so can you give some details on how you have it hooked up, the sound, Etc. I’m thinking of getting one. Thanks.
talk about pushing the envelope.. you guys are simply brilliant!!
Wow! And what a dream team of question people!!! Nice pedal!!!!
Congrats on your new product. It looks amazing.
This is a great tone tool. Dan, I’m hoping this is the item you were waiting for to build you board.
Good idea! I use to do this with my old jtm. Then I started building my own devices! Every one needs a blender or a small mixer in his pedal board
a) it sounds like a winner of an enabler pedal and b) this is a wonder of cameo appearances of the leaders of the pedal community. Amazing on both counts.
This is one of those products where the question is not "do I want one?" but "how many do I want?" - time to start saving the pennies!
Sounds great, thought this was a wet/dry/wet box at first, which, by the way, would be a great product as well.
You had me at blend Miku. That's fun getting pedal designers as guests. Oh, and you must be digging the Jazzmaster.
You are fantastic guitar player..clean..soulful and beautiful.
That’s very kind, thank you :)
Thanks for continuing to make great products Dan! I just picked up 2 of those, looking forward to it!
it’s been 4yrs, do you still have them? If so can you give some details on how you have it hooked up, the sound, Etc. I’m thinking of getting one. Thanks.
What a lovely product! I don't need one but a really want one. Great job on the design!
My favourite feature of the mooer ocean machine is the option to parallel the delays! Absolutely brilliant! That Miku tone is amazing to! 👍
@Guitar Headz the tone dreams are made of
This is epic! With this pedal we can create so much different and new tones! I always like a overdrive with a little bit fuzz on top. Now it is possible! Or a chorus with a little bit tremelo.
Great job Dan & The Gig Rig team!
The addition of expression pedal control totally sold me on this.
Love the celebrity cameos!
......and they say it's all been done!!!
A M A Z I N G
Dan - a great and thoughtful piece of kit -kudos 👍
Cool idea Dan. Congrats
I was literally looking at how to do this last week. It's like you read my mind Dan!
I’ve been using Yoshi’s parallel mixing in ES switchers with some success but the blend option here is amazing 🤯
"And when I say anything, I mean anything." When you said this in that mischievous tone of yours, I knew it was going to be the Miku! And by the way, this box is genius.
Cheers mate :)
Simply phenomenal!!!!!
Daniel, you are an absolute genius. You've really thought of everything with this pedal. Mind blown! I hope this bad boy gets featured in an upcoming TPS vid!
Yeah!!! Love it and loved the vid. Dan you rock!!!
cheers mate :)
