i think maybe thats an extension for short valve stems. ive had a few cars with hubcaps hard to use clamp type hose on. extension would have been nice.
I haven't seen a foot pump in 40 years, do they still make them? Not sure I want my teen daughter out of the car that long trying to pump up a tire. Better to let it run and stay in a locked car. It's not lazy, it's for safety. Besides, I got this for my daughter who is a cross-country/track runner in college. Definitely not lazy......

I'll check that out, I would have never thought of that. The instructions never mentioned it.
people are lazy these days, nothing wrong with the old foot pumps and the newer double action ones work quite fast.
