As 0-0 draws go, that was one of the better ones. I thought we (Bristol City) had the better of the first half but you definitely came out with a different game plan after halftime. As for Nigel Pearson, he’s done a lot of firefighting since he’s been here, he knew from the off that we might have some FFP issues & as a result he’s blooded a lot of youth while being unable to invest little money in the squad but with the sales of Semenyo & Scott we now seem to have come out the other side. Pearson’s contract is up at the end of the season (that’ll be 3 years he’s been here) & I hope we stick with him now that we might be able to invest in the squad a bit more, this is finally starting to feel like his squad & we are finally starting to find an identity in how we want to play (pace & closing down). As for handball, never! Maybe a couple of seasons ago when it was a case of whenever the ball hit an arm/hand but not now that some refs are finally using common sense!! Your keeper made a couple of great saves while a couple of our defenders hand to make great last ditch tackles/blocks.
Great video chaps , but when travelling to Ashton gate don’t go through Bristol , keep going down M5 and come off at either Avonmouth or Portbury ( much quicker )
Fair result and very decent 0-0. We (City) ran out of steam second half unable to sustain the high energy of the first, while you stepped up and were getting through us from all over the park in the second. Pens were debatable let's call em 'Prem pens' and we're not there, so not beyond the reasonble doubt of the Championship. Always enjoy your videos as you represent the reality of grassroots of fandom. Just one small criticism you played Bristol City not Bristol, they're the Rugby team. There is also another Bristol team but you don't want to be playing them because either you've had a rubbish cup draw or your club has had a 40pt penalty deduction.
Hey, Dan, Paul and Beck! Great video as usual. Watched the match over here in the US. First half was pretty bad. We were awful. Second half was much better. I really like Sarmiento and Maja. They both put in great efforts. Palmer had a few great saves, but also almost cost us the game. I think we should be happy with the draw. Love the chants! COYB! Win the next one, lads!
Bristol city fan, thought we played well and defending was incredible but we shouldve finished our chances. Have a good rest of your season, and that was not a penalty 😁
@@billclinton984 The ball hit his arm which stopped it going through on goal, therefore it's handball and a penalty. Naismith went through Maja before winning the ball so again a penalty.
@@MrNeiltonoman well no, the naismith tackle was clean, just a bit of contact and a simple google search will tell you that using ur hand to support your fall is not a handball
Starting following you after your last visit, another great vlog cheers boss. Regarding Pearson, I get he’s marmite in persona, and sometimes I turn his interviews off. However, as a manager and custodian of the club, in the circumstances he’s inherited, I think he’s been top notch. We’re a (fairly) solid championship club since he arrived, I think more so when comparing the tenures of our previous management’s legacies at this level. The academy has always been there, but under NP its absolutely thriving, which has to be down to his ability to manage the young players transitions into first team football. Solid 8/10 for me. My old man is from Dudley, and all me cousins are Midlands based. My Albion fanatic cousin said to me the other week that he thinks the club might be in administration within 12 months, which proper surprised me. What are your thoughts - sorry to end with a negative like! All the best.
yo dad, Dan, and Beck . eems like it's going to be a slog! you guys so bring a breath of fresh air to my life, I had a stroke in 2020 so don't get out and having been a Life long Baggie cannot get to see them, you have a great Karma around you which shows by the folks wanting to say hi. so, bloody well done safe travels and see you soon. lots of love and respect from a baggie, Stroke survivor and a Navy veteran xx penalty!! nice touch with the players saying hello .
Great day and one of the better goalless games. I would have taken a point after the first half effort, frankly. Much better second half. Would like to see Maja start with BTA on Wednesday as BTA is chasing shadows despite his excellent work-rate. Kipre did well again and is proving to be a solid defender who can thread the ball nicely. Furlong’s spot surely in jeopardy? I hope the chap is wrong about Okay but he does seem distracted. Thought the penalty shout was a decent one but need to see it again so cannot blame the ref who did well. See you at Watford. Great travelling support yesterday. Always like Bristol albeit a bit of a slog from the city centre.
Firstly thank you for another great Vlog 👍 On the game itself, I have to say I do not blame Corberan, he had the International break to drill these players and to put in a performance like that is shocking,..Corberan should not have to give the players a rollocking at half time to up the 2nd half performance they should give 100% for the whole game..this is Division 1 quality, and lets be honest we have a lower league quality squad,.. On Wallace, he is proving he does not possess captaincy qualities, and I suggest his age is against him now and unable to complete 90 minutes,.. On the penalty call, it was definately a penalty, but did the ref cost us for not giving it? Absolutely not, these players cost us 3 pts, and will continue to do so,.. On our fans, loyal as always, but have to say you all deserve a medal or therapy for going to watch such garbage, and lets face it these garbage performances are the norm now, and suggest when a prem club do come after him-and they will as I can see Middlesborough & Everton sacking their managers soon then despite Corberan's 4 year solid contract with us he will go!!
If CC ain't gonna play Wallace as an out and out right winger then its not worth playing him period. The guy is struggling and so out of form I feel sorry for him. All the opponents I have watched this season all seem to play with pace and attack swiftly. We seem to play every first half like a training session or its 5 minutes to go and we are seeing out the game. So disappointed at the moment with the way we are playing. I don't fancy our chances at Watford if the reproduce another first half performance like that one.
Tbh I actually said to the person I was with that the referee was having a good game, letting alot of petty small stuff go and allowing the game to flow. Then at the end the Bristol bloke goes straight through sarmiento to get the ball. Should have been a penalty. Can't say I enjoyed the match.

Good vid, not sure what you think we're penalties though!
Any result against albion I'll take, you've battered us enough times over the years 😆

which one; the blatant handball or when Maja had his legs taken from him?😉
@@MrNeiltonoman not a handball he dived down to block with his body and used his hands to stop himself from falling over, and naismith got the ball 😉

We dominated first half
You lot second.
Never pen shout…. Fair result
Lucky you got a draw, we have no forwards at the moment, all injured!

Never pen
Hope you all paid your ‘Ulez’ fee otherwise a fine will be coming😂
A good old Bobby Moore tackle, no way a penalty to WBA.
penalty all day long
player took the ball first, doesn’t matter if he takes the player with him

Grown men wearing football shirts to matches.. embarrassing.
Why don’t you fuck off down the road to which ever prem team you undoubtedly ‘support’.
