WEEK IN THE LIFE | first year medical student

In this week's vlog, I am still in the foundational science course of my first year of medical school but this week was a little different. Instead of pre-recorded lecture videos, we had team-based learning in addition to our normal PBL schedule. This week we were also being oriented to a patient navigation section of our health systems class and got to interview a standardized patient on the social and psychological aspects of his diagnosis. Ending the week off with an extracurriculars club fair and some group studying!
