The title should be can a 50cc scooter keep up with a motorized bicycle. And the answer is not unless it's a Honda or Yamaha or something equivalent.

I mean most motorized bike kits are over 50cc and not road legal. The scooter can be registered without a license or insurance in many states and driven legally.

You're expected to obey all traffic laws. STOP 🛑 signs mean come to a complete stop. Videos like this gives a bad label to us motorized bicycle riders.

Thanks Karen??? Seems you haven't got a clue. I've been on the motorized bicycle forums for 13 years now. I've seen many states in the USA and entire nations ban self built motorized bicycles from their public roadways because of reckless riding. Making videos of reckless riding then posting on public medias gives the powers that be the ammunition they need to enact laws to ban our bikes.
