Dang! Such a cool course, great history, great stories, and the plane in the lake is so awesome! & yah know I think I'm gonna try doing one of those "photobombs"! Sounds like fun! Haha
I love Vegas. Great views of the strip from this course. This place seems to have a lot of history and character. Looks pure too. Always cool to see private courses!
@@DoubleBogeyBass hahha I know its crazy we just got approved to be partners so i am testing it out lol. Won't get much from the videos but 5-Hour Energy pays pretty well and has helped us out a lot!
Vegas baby VEGAS! Thats cool that they left the plane there on the course, I did not know that. Did you guys throw $100 down on some bets? I guess the father in law gave you his blessing. Lucky that both him and your dad play golf! Great story on 18! That had to be cool to witness that! Great course, Ill have to play it next time I go to Vegas. Solid play out there Ryan by you and the gangsters!
hahah no betting lol but yeah I thought it was cool thats where they filmed that part of the movie. I honestly never have watched the movie so I had to look it up when they were telling me about it haha. But yeah he has game, he never plays anymore but you can tell he used to be pretty good back in the day!
In the movie the plane lands on the 1st fairway at Las Vegas National. That's my home course, I recognize exactly where Pesci is standing, the home that Deniro is sitting at is still there today. In real life, a plane conducting surveillance really did land in the water hazard at Las Vegas CC, which is where the idea for the scene in Casino came from. That is why they have the plane in the lake at LVCC. Great content btw and if you ever get a chance I recommend playing National, it's another old school course with a great challenging layout and you can compare the movie scene to actually being there in person.
@@hitanotherone I was going to play in the AZ open qualifier there but unfortunately my dates don't match up. The course looks awesome!! Still one of the funnier scenes from a movie. 100 bucks to anyone who hits the plane! hahahaha
I love vegas. I havent been since i started playing golf but im looking forward to it. Great video guys.
Thank you thank you!

I love the story on the plaque on 18.
Yeah I think that is awesome! Crazy how that gave them such an advantage on 18 with some home course knowledge haha
awesome looking course, backdrop and course are a joy to behold! I'll get there one day, did you play anywhere else why you were there?
Yeah I played another cool private course but this one was super cool and am glad I was able to play it!

Going in March. How were the greens?
Very good! Everything rolled smooth
@@GolfFunatics that’s great to hear! Did you stay at the Westgate? The course looks nice though! This was in January??

I was under the impression he landed the plane on number 1 at Las Vegas National in the movie. Hilarious scene either way
nope they got plaques around and everything talking about it. My father in law grew up living on that course so he knew about it as well

why didn't you record all their stories about the history of the club??? This is THE OG Country Club in Vegas
