I know, I know. Sadly, life has been quite messy here for the last few months, so I've just not been able to get much done for you guys. It's probably gonna stay slow for a while, but the series is going to drop in due time. Thanks for sticking around and having patience with me.

(Spoiler alert) it turned out to actually be 5.5 kW because they got the wrong bloody panels!
@@FFcossag It's still better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. ;o) I only use 5 - 6 kW/h a day.
man at least here in the UK we doint need like 20 plus warning stickers to say that a panel is fed from solars+grid we just need one label on the main panel (not any slaves)
Usually that would be the case here too, but since my system is so wonky and weird, we decided to put stickers on everything just to be safe.
Everytime I turn on "all" notifications for your channel it seems to revert back and I don't get any notification. Odd. Love a backlog of videos though, can't complain :P have a great new year!!

Dunno if they changed their tune or not, but in the UK they wouldn't let people use their own equipment for grid-tie, especially stuff with battery backed "islanding" facilities, if it wasn't on the FITS (Feed-In Tariff Scheme) list, it wasn't going in, such an inconvenience for a customer to be able to, y'know, USE the energy they produced in the event of a grid failure... :\
My local power company only requires that the equipment complies with a few safety regulations - including one that governs disconnect times in case of a grid failure. Islanding isn't allowed here either, for obvious reasons.
Are you going to populate the rest of your sheds south facing roof? nice setup FF
Sadly, there's no south facing roof, only east/west, and the west facing one is at a slightly more northern angle than the east side, making panels on it a bit less economical. I may or may not cover it, it depends on if I get a good deal on some panels, I suppose.
