I LOVE your channel……you’re adorable and are extremely creative! Mixed-media is the best and most interesting art medium. You have a sincere, humorous, professional and fun channel. I’m 75, an artist all my life, and I learn new techniques from you. Thanks for your dedication Michelle❤❤❤❤

i have done a similar oroject with a sandwuch of tissue paper, pressed flowers and leaves, crayon shavings *especially gold!) a sheet of cling wrap and another sheet of tissue or waxed paper. Press all layers together with an iron. As a kid, we hung these in the window .i think mine even had butterfly wings, but you could cut out a magazine photo of insects too.

Just discovered your channel and am having the best time trying to figure out howtodoall your lovely techniques with what I have! Thanks for the inspo

I am so happy your giving them a try. I hope you have lots of fun. It’s challenging not having all our goodies with us but it does make us think a little differently when it comes to being creative. 😊

So I'm just seeing this video now 6/4 and it is hitting home. We moved in 2 weeks ago. Before we moved I packed all my art supplies (you don't want to know how much ALL is) into gray 18 gallon storage bins with lids. I logged each bin in a notebook so I could "find" my supplies once moved in. It's been two weeks, have not been able to get to my bins bc there is so many other household bins stacked in front of "my stuff" and consequently I had to cut fabric yesterday with a kitchen food sheer. No biggie right, uh it is chiffon for my jacket for a wedding that is coming up and I need to alter the length. Needless to say I have not done a single art project, I don't have any idea when I'll be able to and I need to purchase a new pair of fabric sheers so I can finish hemming the jacket. Ugh, the struggle is real my friend. Just go buy more (you know you'll use it anyway) glue, we need to have art or we might shrivel up!!

Wow, I love your version so much, you got me inspired to try it now 😊! Using tissue paper is a great idea! And they turned out so beautiful, combination of watercolor and grungy! Stunning! And your linocuts, oh, love, love, love them! I have some that I created 20 years ago, and totally forgot about them! I have to dig through my stuff now! Thanks so much for the video, it was so enjoyable and inspirational to watch ❤️
Good luck with the big move ❤️

Amazing. What a wonderful process. Stunning results. Here's a bizarre storage idea. I had a friend who was in a similar situation. To expand her storage while waiting for her new digs to be ready. She packed her trunk full of boxes. She placed items that would not be adversly effected by temperatures that were too hot or too cold. She stored boxes of tissue paper, painty papers, watercolor pads. Things like that. It worked out for her and was very handy - - most of the time. LOL. 💌🙏

Hi love your tutorial great to be able to use on pockets tags. You have so many great ideas. Congratulations on your new home. Take your paints brushes paper ink stamps as you can make most things with just them. Look at your supplies anything you hardly use you won't miss. I have stuff I haven't used in 2 years like polymer clay and all the tools moulds etc needs to go. Am going through my own stuff and things I use currently I will keep. So everything else can go don't need to have things I don't use just takes up space. Am sure you will figure it out. You could always put extra shelves up to put things on to add storage in your new home. Good luck with everything 😀❤

Congratulations on your house sale and plans. Something exciting to look forward to. I appreciate all of your videos because you always have something new to teach us and some new ideas to try. I love your style and focus on natural elements and themes. There are many of us who are starting out and have limited supplies and tools but who still want to try making journals. Everyone who crafts wants to experience the joy of making beautiful hand made things. Sometimes having limited supplies encourages the mind and imagination to come up with new ideas using substitutes or different tools and supplies. Often this results in very original and unique creations and a lot of joy from doing things a different way and achieving such beautiful results. I always look forward to watching your videos and for the last while your content has really peaked my interest. I love the simple and effective way that you create as well as the variety of ideas you share to make journals more personal and natural. You have found yourself a great niche and I feel very lucky to have you to watch and learn from. Thank you so much.

Wow! Thank you so much for this lovely comment. Excited about the house adventure. It will be challenging.
I love to try new mediums and try to develop new ideas. I find if I am not able to create I will explode lol.
I think you tube is a great resource to discover new ideas and see what appeals to you so that you can find what works for you and your budget. I totally agree with you when you are limited in supplies it can force you to be even more creative which is why I like to sketch.
Thank you for watching and I hope you enjoy the channel and discover some new techniques.
      Cheers 😊

For your moving ideas. Keep items that serve multiple purposes. For example, Don’t keep the glue out, keep you gel medium out because it can glue and seal.
I am enjoying your videos. Thanks and I hope your move is as painless as possible.
