Review of Thule roof racks for Ford Maverick

A quick video to show how the Thule roof racks quickly install on my 2022 Ford Maverick truck. These are after market racks. The Maverick does not had (or didn’t have at the time) and available roof rail system on which to install crossbars. At the time, Thule were the only ones to make the appropriate foot pad for the Mavericks roof.
The cost was actually just over $700, not the $350 mentioned in the video. They work well, though the squares bars are noisy when not being used. The install and uninstall quickly, so easy removal when nit in use.

Slow down just a tad on camera shot so not so shaky/jerky. I'm no camera man, but looked at a lot of Ford Maverick videos since I own a 2023 . Nice to know roof racks out there for this truck. I think you did a good job on explaining the roof racks. Short and informative clip. Look forward to your next one.

Won't it scratch the paint surface when you put them on top of the roof? It looks good. Easy to install. Nice variant application.

The foot pads have a soft rubber on them and are formed to the contour off the roof line. The clamps also have a silicone/rubber covering. I’ve put these in and off a number of times with no scratches.

I need to haul a 32’ ladder on a Maverick. Wonder if this could be made to work to haul it ?
