thank u so much for posting another great video for us... of the Mad Axeman...for those of us that cant be there!! He is at top of his game on this 2009 tour.
I was a teen in the 70s and remember well a friend lending me this vinyl. I had never heard of MSG before but was blown away soon after the needle made contact with the album. This song in particular made me go "wow". At the time, MSG had a very strong line up and they managed recording something magical (bands with strong line ups often fail to find that when in studio). It's nice to see Michael is still in touch with the old material. I'd love to see that kind of setlist played live.
Glad michaels still makin money and playing......Early UFO days he had alot of F-_N seious (lets say =-problems),but was a guitar virtuouso.....so..let him play Big contributor on many U.F.O.and Scorpions albums......thanks duder
@EUguitarRULE / Because I read in an interview with Michael Schenker he talked about Paul McCartney playing bass on one song and Paul just tuned up his bass by ear and the producer/engineer kept insisting that Paul use a Strobe Tuner to tune and the two of them almost ended up in an argument about it and Michael had to remind him that this is Paul McCartney he can do what he wants!
@EUguitarRULE / Also if you read the liner notes on the lp he thanks Paul McCartney. I'm not sure which song he played on though. Wish I could remember.
i dont think mcartney participated on the album. as i understand he just stopped by and hung out. simple case of name dropping. who wouldnt mention / credit a beatle lol.
i dues ..i'll be lambasted for saying this.. and i know this guy is the original singer onthis song.. but .. its sounds ..onthe last few vids i have seen of him .. that his voice is ..shot.. i saw Michael =this past sunday night.. Jan 26th,2014) with Doogie White singing this song.. it was great...much better.
My all time favourite MSG song.
I have not heard this as good live for over 20 years - Michael's back!!!!
