If the suspension and geometry are incorrect for the track conditions and you have the wrong tires the best servo will do nothing for the Truggy. For me learning setup is what gained me faster lap times. Adding the best equipment then helped a lot. Great video Toby. Always fun to watch.
i piss n moan about paying £20 for a servo 😂 loved the Clarkson clip,it's broken 😂😂 great racing 🏁 and brilliantly put together video dude, you definitely deserve shed loads more subs dude 😃👍👍👍
After tires, servos are my favorite RC upgrade. That seems like a good servo, but I love running AGFRC servos and Perfect Pass Monster servos. Both are pricy but I love the speed and torque. Anytime I have extra money I buy one of those to keep in backstock.
I think that it does also depend on what the servo is being used for. I have many rock crawlers. I do not need a servo like this. I need a high torque servo. What about on road cars? You probably need a fast small servo. What about drift cars, what do you need? Application is important. Thoughts?
Hmmm. Yeah it’s true! I mean it probably wouldn’t be good for a crawler no. Speed run car I reckon it would be perfect for! And same with drifting 👍🏻 but there are other options. for race cars this is one of the best! 💯 the Tekno in particular has a very strong servo saver, and like I said in the vid, a cheap servo won’t last long in there.
@alfredyost7972 yeah exactly. If your building a cheap basher, then a cheap one will be fine (if it’s got some half decent specs) lol. But always go with the best of the best for racing I’d say 👍🏻
@@TobyTeagan I have Tekin servos very good but expensive. I have Reefs servos very good. I have Savox servos, good but power hungry. I of course have Futaba servos. I like them because you can find the right servo for your needs. I many more servos than that. Thoughts?
Considering there are only a handful of servo manufacturers in the world, this is definitely just a marketing gimmick. There are dozens of very fast servos made by other popular brands that would cost a fraction of that. But I guess it also depends on where you're at in the world.
Like I said in the video, I had a servo in there that was half the price. Was just as fast/strong, but died early on. There are some great other options as well though! AGF, Perfect pass, reds. All good I think 👍🏻
True that there are only say many servo manufactures, but a this is at the cheap end of what will hold up in these race rigs, sure you can put a cheaper on one in, but in a few races it will give out, cost you the race and then you need to buy another one, ends up costing way more in the long run
Great representation of a day racing at badlandz ❤

Very good advice!!
Can have all the best gear, but if your car has been set up by a Clarkson, you don’t stand a chance 😂💯

Yes! A lot of my friends run AGF and Perfect pass they seem really good! 👍🏻
Perfect Pass and AGFrc are the same servo. AGFrc are good, thats what i run, but the RP1 is also very good, a bit faster as well

@@TobyTeagan I agree I have bought some cheap Amazon servos and had problems. I would never use a cheap servo in a race. Thoughts?

i run Reds servos in my sworkz evo there £135 eachi use 40kg on steering and throttle/brake
Sound good!
Nice vid....servo is expensive to you but to all those guys you mentioned that use them. They probably get given them for nothing !
Cheers dude!
No Most of us pay for our own equipment at the track. Some tacks don’t though…..lucky bastards!! 😂
Should have bought a perfect pass one!
Lol. next time!
Just cut out the middle man and Raz tax and buy the original AGFrc one 😂😂
