@@jimmyyanardito All good Jimmy. You are right. Luckily I very often drive on slippery snowy roads, thus, I have experience. I am born into this weather, thus, with proper clothing below Zero temperatures are mainly going to freeze the fingers if one doesnt wear gloves.
@@DjemoGraphic In contrast to the conditions here, I was born in a sub tropical weather environment, haven't had below zero temperatures, and if it had, I might be prone to fever and flu ..haha lol 😂 . When I was very very young, long long ago. Our parents rented a house during the summer in the late sixties. Our house was right beside the lake and during the vacation we went for hiking, swimming and much more. A great time and will never forget that time. We visit Wallis every year since my whole life (58 years), and so now and then we visit champex again! Many thanks for the video, I think I will visit it next year again. Swissland and Austria are my favourite places to travel and I can’t wait to get back mid next year.

I have seen many of your videos and knew the channel was Djemographic, but this is the first time I realized your first name is Djemo? Champex-Lac is indeed a winter wonderland, and reminds me of Lake Louise, Alberta and a couple of lakes in British Columbia, Canada. The water was so still, as sometimes those mountain lakes get wind - especially in the afternoon, so you do not get the mirror effect. Having some color from the larches mixed in is also nice. There doesn't seem to be a lot of tourists - another plus. This is how I like to experience winter - white snow, a small village, and no driving hassles, along with sunshine. Hope your friend enjoyed the place as well. I could spend a weekend here easily!.

I have visited it 4x since July! This video was taken in early November, it suddenly started to snow, which added a lot of magic to this otherwise golden Autumn sanctuary. You likely will have to take a Postauto (Autopostale) from Martigny up to Champex-Lac. Trains go from Sion and Lausanne to Martigny.
