Sam Fender talks to Sharuna Sagar about his life

Singer-songwriter Sam Fender has built up an army of fans through relentless touring and recently released his first EP. Arts reporter Sharuna Sagar managed to catch up with him on a rare day off in his home town of North Shields.

She asked 'what are your hopes for the future' Sam said he's terrified but in a good way, exited etc then he said it's his dream to play a sold out gig at st James park (it's where Newcastle football team play, he's a big fan) he said if he does that he'll probably just retire and go back to his local (the low lights) and drink pints until the end of his days
