I really like this reel. I landed a 3.9Kg grouper with this reel. It feels smooth and silent. Almost like a Stradic.
So whats the verdict on this reel? I have one sitting in my cart lol
Yes, it is good. If you need a reel for bait and wait or slow jigging, this is for you. It is better than the new Daiwa BG (as this model has flex on the seat) and better than the low end Shimanos. It is also smooth and quiet.
