I had that exact bike, loved it. But the OEM mufflers rusted in no time. I like the new mufflers on your bike. And that seat was the most comfortable M/C seat, maybe ever. Just a great bike that has become a classic.
As old as the seat is it’s still so comfortable and can be ridden for hours. It is a classic and I really can’t complain about a single thing about it. Thanks for watching 🙂
Cool bike, I have a 1980 kz440 which was this bikes competition, well the kz400 was but they are the same bike as the 440. My 440 starts buzzing pretty good above 50 mph but not unbearably, I just assumed it was normal as old as it was with a relatively small displacement, I was curious if the Honda does as well. Great video my only suggestion would be I love when people have audio as they are riding the bike and explain what they think of it but some people just want to hear the bike run so I get that too.
It does buzz a bit but as you said not unbearably. I have thought about talking as I ride but I just haven't worked up the 'courage' to do so. I will eventually do it but I'm still getting there. Thanks for the feedback and for watching!
Thanks for watching! I don’t know what brand they are or where they are from. They were already on the bike when I bought it and I thought they sound good too so I’ve left them on.
noice sounds lovely bike ! from japan
Thanks!
I just restored one of these and they are so cozy to sit on and just awesome

HONDA HAWKは排気量250ccです。排気量400ccはHWAKIIです。
Great video! I have received my own 1978 from my grandmother that I plan on restoring.
Thanks for watching! It’s such an enjoyable bike to ride. Good luck on your restoration.
Nice ride. Yes, those pipes give it a nice note. 🫡
Thanks! I love this bike and it’s so easy to ride.
Automatic ,correct?
It’s the CB400T so it’s thankfully a manual. I’d like to ride a 400A just to see how it runs.
