  • A detailed review my 14" Craftsman Euro style band saw that I have owned for 4 years. This saw is affordable, provides some resaw capability and pretty accurate cuts. I'm happy with this band saw and it fits in my tiny wood workshop! Watch this review if you are looking for an affordable bandsaw!

It maybe worth taking a look at Carter’s website or call them. This is saw resembles Rikon 14” saw. I would check there as well.

Fantastic review! I have the same saw but it's a Rikon. One thing I'm having trouble with it finding out what size blade to buy. Is it 99 3/4"? Or 99 1/2"?

Thank you! For the Craftsman it's 99 3/4" blade! I recommend Timberwolf blade! I have had fantastic luck with their 3/4" resaw blade as well as 1/4" regular blade.

Which model Rikon is the same?

Have you found any places that carry replacement guides?

Carter’s has the guide mechanism replacement. That’s what I’m planning to use when the current ones wear out. You can also make home made versions yourself from certain wood species but have no personal experience with them!

@@bluffhavenstudios They also have other nice things such as magfence II which is great for resawing and general use.

@@KiranBhatWoodworking I checked with them and they said that the blade guides didn't work.. so I guess I am going to try to clean up the ones I have a refit but the fence does look good

I wonder if they stopped carrying it. Have you considered the conversion kits? It might be overall a better setup!
