Job Training Program Cut: The state is cutting funding for a program that trains and then hires workers with developmental disabilities to build components used by canoe manufacturers. The state wants to move the workers into more integrated work settings.

No the company that employes the people with disabilities are short changing the people with disabilities because if a company that makes millions per year can't pay them good enough wages to get people with disabilities off of government assistance but if they paid them 3 to 5 times what they would ever get on government assistance alone then people with disabilities would not be screwed like we all are every day.
