New years eve took us finally to Waiheke Island to explore! We purchased a return ticket with a bus pass which would get us around for $45.
Definitely not the cheapest place to visit if you plan on staying for a few nights! To do Waiheke Island on a budget, take a packed lunch and maybe just treat yourself to an ice cream!

Hope the delay's were not a dampener for your Waiheke experience, on a busy summer day Fullers would ferry 11,000 to 12,000 people to the island and back. Unfortunately you picked an extra busy day.

i loved Waikiki island when I went, they have vineyard tours and some really nice restaurants too if you're splashing the cash

staying at waiheke island is worth it... says someone that lives there xD... but yea, its worth it, there's good schools. like waiheke primary school, waiheke high school. a kindergarden, coin save shop is ostend, and a hospital at ostend aswell, its worth it!

I'm 16 aha, (I already have qualifications and I've seen so many people be successful without them) So whats the point in sticking around!
