Canada is a good destination for truck drivers, lentil farmer's and labourers who have special talents of poking meat on skewers and flipping naans. The kukkad economy of Brampton is a big attraction for certain people in India.

Canadians are gatekeeping like crazy. Canada is difficult kyunki wo PR dete hai, PR sabse important cheez hoti hai. US me PR ko Green Card bolte hai. H1B aur student visa toh mil jata hai US mai par wo slavery jaise conditions banate hai US me
      1) US me tum MS karke 60k kharch karoge toh bhi ewo tumko visa nahi denge, chain se jeene/kamane nahi denge
      2) US me agar tumhara job jaata hai toh tumhare pass sirf 60 days hote hai naya job dhundne ke liye

Agar tum STEM me degree karne aaoge and theek se college choose karoge, to koi fees nahi hoti. 2011 me masters karne US gaya Tha, apni Jeb se ek painsa nahi Dia Tha Maine. Reaearch assistantship par pori padhai ko and 1700 USD monthly stipend milta Tha and poori tuition project pay karta Tha.
Canada me aisa nahi he because ye log research par spend nahi karte.
Aur green card ki waiting sirf "Indian born" ke lie he. Agar tum indian ho par UAE born to 1 year me green card milta he. Aur mere indian friend ne PhD Kari rhi usko bhi 2 years me green cRd Mila.
If you are a talented researcher, professor you can get green card sitting at your home in India.

Canadian students work hard and study also. They choose to do so because they have to in order to complete their education. It's not easy but doable. If you think it's hard on immigrant students because they have been mislead, wrong. They are not the first and not the last to make this choice. They are not little children. You said that this has been a problem since 1960, right? No more comments.

Toronto (GTA) is literally becoming overcrowded and the infrastructure is not being able to keep up with the migration of people. The cost of living has gone up significantly making it extremely difficult for people to sustain their day-to-day living. On top, the law and order situation has worsened. I know few family friend of ours who had their cars stolen from their driveway. If you look at the school system, it has been penetrated by ‘wokes’ - pushing their ideologies on to children. In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, xenophobic people, too depressing. It has become the North Korea of the western world.
Their are many reasons why Canada has fallen apart. But the number one reason is ‘multiculturalism’. My friends, multiculturalism simply does not work. Different cultures do not come together and mix, different cultures come together and clash. The world is divided into different countries for a reason: because people hate each other and only want to be with their own kind. The number two reason for Canada’s demise is ‘socialism’. In this modern era of aging populations, socialism is mathematically impossible to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions and the various other benefits, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. Well Canada, you had a good run. Time for Canucks to move to an emerging country. We welcome you here in Southeast Asia.

Even though I am a Toronto based immigration lawyer I agree, many recent immigrants from India that I meet are struggling - working many hours a week for very low incomes. Many were mislead into thinking that getting a degree from a Canadian university would lead quickly to a good job. It has not been that way since about 1960 unless you are in one of the few high skill, high demand areas. There is a huge demand for construction workers (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, drywall installers, labourers etc.) and they require experience and maybe also a college or trade school diploma, not a degree. Many immigrants are shocked at the high rate in income tax here, plus the Good and Services tax every time you buy something. Net income is much less than the posted pay rate.

I was born here now 60 and it is truly getting worse. It’s a global issue now. The countries that signed onto BRICS will fare the best. The American dollar is falling rapidly and Canada reflects a mirror image. I hate to say this but Russia is booming and even under all the embargos on their economy. What does that tell you?? When I go to remortgage in 2 years I will have to sell. I will lose my home. Leaves you sick to your stomach. Now you probably are saying 60 …mortgage well it’s life’s challenges. I can’t change it. It happened ie divorce etc. just saying ….. the rates went up again yesterday the rates. Everything is wayyyy up soon you won’t be able to feed yourself. I’m lucky I can at least take a deer a year but for an immigrant good luck at that. My family moved here in the late 1700s Irish migrants. Very scary indeed. Not fear mongering.

So many people are here taking this guy advise negatively. He is saying don't come in 2023 because things aren't not good and you will lose lots of money. And you won't find a job very easily due to recession. Come once the strom is settled means 2024 mid or end or 2025. There are shortages of homes and you won't find rental homes so easily, because too many immigrants are already here and activetly looking for rental homes. And if you are lucky to find one then the rent is too high closed to $1900 to $2100 for basement in big cities. But if due to some reason you need to come then bring good money with you to afford and pay the expenses.

I find people feel the pressure to come to Canada and buy a house but that sets you up for middle class . think about starting a business you will go a lot more far in life. I did the best thing moved to Montreal you can buy plexes apartment rentals and have your tenets pay of your mortgage you get the best of both worlds you can live for free in one of the units and have your tenets pay your mortgage. In Canada, atleast you have EI from the Govt to support for a few months, what support do you get in India, if you are laid off? Secondly, maximum layoffs are happening in India, than any other country... In that case, where should all those people go, still people are positive that the Indian Economy will do well. The same is with Canada.
Secondly, when did Canada lay roads in Winter months? All road repairs will start in Summer, and suddenly cos you lost your job, you want the Canadian Govt to lay roads for you in Winter and Spring season???

Canada is not good if we migrate 35+, very exceptional or lucky they get a relevant job. The recruitment system is so conservative, people move their thinking it is another USA.

I just completed my masters in business data analytics. I am so baffled by the job market here. I have applied to 100+ positions since last month, and still got no interviews. I mean who's getting hired then? Should I do a phd now? XD

You had explained all very well. I guess you must were a student of economics if i were not wrong. I have done master degree in economics. I could understand all you explained. But i guess all these job hiring and firing are in companies etc.. like if people do jobs in other sectors such as grocery store, factories related grocery products, school and college related business, farmers, and some other business may be getting good business. ??? I mean what is situation of that business???

Even after all these problems you have applied and got Canadian Citizenship and let go of your Indian citizenship. It would have been good if you have mentioned right at the start that you have applied for a Canadian citizenship. Hypocrisy at its best.
