Great preparation! I don't ferment my hot honey. I just steep chopped bird's eye peppers in warmed (but not boiled) honey. Let it sit for an hour or so and strain out the chilis.
@@thehomegrownartist I thought the sweet and spice combo only applied to other humans and chinese food though? I'm probably not the person who can understand because I avoid 99% of spicy foods and my idea of spice is black pepper.

I watched entire video trying to process the idea of hot honey and still processing.
It seems like an odd concept, but it is such a treat! A little bit of spicy and a little bit of sweet is a surprisingly good combo!
