He is Drake Jonathon Livingston Jr. Look him up. YES, HE IS THAT GOOD. Who is he? He is a GENIUS!!!! The song is about battling fears, anxiety and depression. He has alot of other amazing songs as well. SERIOUSLY CHECK HIM OUT! He is going to be huge in the music industry. He already has a n outstanding fan base.
He is genius, who apparently had an autistic childhood...and he said I believe his first influence was rap.

He is on the autism spectrum (which I've heard many geniuses are) he grew up with others bullying him, he was a chunky teen and his self esteem created horrible anxiety!

His entire new album is OUTSTANDING! In this song he’s talking about anxiety. My personal favorites on the album are this song and Architect, but for the 1st time in A LONG TIME I liked every song.

The first time I saw him was when I got a clip in my notifications and was completely blown away. His voice is incredible and his moves-not exactly dance moves-are just as good. I see clips with his mom who he seems to look to for approval that his songs are good. I’ve seen him sing for his music teacher at school and for his grandparents. They all seem so happy, and definitely proud of their boy. You should hear some of his other songs. A little surprise for you, I’m 66 years old and I absolutely love this guy and his music!!!

I just discovered Livingston a couple of months ago. As soon I heard him in the process of writing this song Shadow, I was hooked. I'm about to turn 68 and when I read the comments on the UA-cam Video shorts I was amazed at how many people were eager to share their age (many of them were Boomers like me) and express how intrigued they were by him. He is absolutely tapping into the Zeitgeist of these Times we live in and I think many of us have been waiting for him.

His album Hometown Odyssey is absolutely brilliant and he's dropping new songs as well already. I can't praise him enough. He mentioned Shadow is about a conversation between self and anxiety. I also get the Burtonesque vibes. I see Drake Livingston as someone who could easily become the next Lin Manuel Miranda - I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if he produced stage shows, musicals. His lyricism is also solid. I've become an instant fan of his as soon as I've discovered him a few short weeks ago. Always excited to see reaction channels picking him up. His talent deserves the support.

I am 56 years old I love music all types and I got to say this guy is a freaking genius one of my all-time favorite songs right now it doesn't get old it's so catchy and unique and different I absolutely love it he's in his own lane and one of the best songs I've ever heard there's just something about it I can't even explain! It's an earworm to the MAX this song has been in my head for months. The kid is amazing. Hes had a label since he was 17 and just was not promoted properly hes going to be HUGE. Listen to all his music its ALL crazy good, different and a new sound that we needed.

Great song!!! Reminds me of Imagine Dragon. He used to be with EPIC right before COVID with his song Fairytale. Took time off, left EPIC and focused on his new album that just dropped with this wonderful song. Not the devil at the door it's your shadow on the floor. How many have faced that, how many relate to that. I'm 58 and I love it. I think Bowie ya, Queen backing ya, not sure about Burton though. Bowie and Queen most of their music touched my hear and soul in some way, Burton not so much of the music or films have. There have only been a few that have been able to reach so deep in me since the first two mentiond, and both of those did there music and did it their way, weather the record company liked it or not, I'm glad these days artist don't have to go through record labels because they get to stay true to themselves and their hearts and a lot of the music I listen to these days aren't on labels, or are on labels that different people and bands put together to pull their resources. This kid has magic, has the magic of making music once again cross through all generations, sexes, colors, it speaks, it moves, it gives hope even when fighting our own demons. I pray to all that's out there that no scum con him and get their claws into him.

If I’m not mistaken he’s from a Christian Rock background but in today’s world it’s all relative now isn’t it?! You should check out his channel & his shorts because he literally shares the creative process of Shadow with us working on the buildup for the release date which was just a couple days ago but it’s already taking him places I’m pretty sure are going to be filled with new hopefully good experiences for him & his family (mostly because that’s his mother playing the piano for him, lol!).
